The Singh Brothers pulled Jinder out of the ring right in front of the referee and then were murdered by Orton before Orton was pinned. Luke Harper defeated Erick Rowan. WWE US Championship Match Kevin Owens defeated AJ Styles by count out to retain his US title. Owens and AJ fought to the outside and Owens got AJ stuck in an announce table's tv monitor hole to get counted out. Natalya, Tamina Snuka, & Carmella defeated Charlotte, Naomi, & Becky Lynch when Natayla made Becky tap out clean. Sami Zayn defeated Baron Corbin. WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship Match The Usos defeated Breezango to retain their tag titles. Tyler Breeze was undercover as a janitor and an old lady for most the match. Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Dolph Ziggler. Pre-Show Kick-Off Match Tye Dillinger defeated Aiden English. ____________________________  NXT TAKEOVER CHICAGO Results NXT Tag Team Title Ladder Match Authors of Pain defeated #DIY to retain their tag team titles. After the match Tomasso Ciampa destroyed Johnny Gargano to end the PPV. NXT Title Match Bobby Roode defeated Hideo Itami to retain his title. NXT Women's Title Triple Threat Match Asuka defeated Nikki Cross and Ruby Riot pinning both women to retain her title. WWE UK Title Match Pete Dunne defeated Tyler Bate in an amazing match to become the UK Champion. Roman Reigns comes out and says if he has something to say that he better say it to his face. Kurt Angle comes out and makes a match now. Roman Reigns defeats Bray Wyatt by DQ when Samoa Joe comes down and chokes out Roman. Joe teased who he was going to attack first. Roman broke out of the choke and Bray then laid out Roman. Joe then choked out Bray until Seth Rollins came down to fight Joe. Seth and Roman stood tall. Roman was arguing with Rollins about coming to the ring and saving him, Rollins said he came for Joe only. Kurt Angle interrupts them and makes a tag team match between Rollins & Reigns vs. Bray & Joe. The Drifter walks by playing his guitar and Kurt finally books him in a match, against Dean Ambrose. Akira Tozawa defeats Ariya Daivari. During the match they kept cutting to Brian Kendrick watching a TV and being interviewed by the commentary team. It was bad and dumb. Sasha Banks was interviewed backstage about her and Alicia Fox trading wins. Sasha trash talks Noam Dar and Alicia being a weird couple. Dar and Foooooxxxxxx say she's just jealous because she doesn't have anyone. (Revival were supposedly spotted walking backstage as a teaser for a later segment.) The Drifter Elias Sampson defeats Dean Ambrose by DQ when Miz attacks the Drifter to cause Ambrose to lose. Drifter sang a song before the match. Dean attacked Miz after the match but Drifter laid out Ambrose, then stared down Miz. Big Cass found Enzo Amore unconscious backstage. Medics were checking him out but he was knocked loopy and had to get help to walk away. Angle promises to find who did that to Enzo. Cass says that if Kurt doesn't find them first then Cass will. Finn Balor came to the ring to cut a promo but Paul Heyman interrupted him. Heyman praised Balor while dressing down all the other challengers. Heyman believes Balor will win and is actually anticipating Balor vs. Lesnar as a big money making match. Balor says he feels the same, but is disappointed that Brock Lesnar isn't there. He tells Heyman to send the message that he's going to win the Fatal Five Way, then beat Brock to get back the Universal Title he never lost. Finn Balor defeated Karl Anderson. Sasha Banks defeated Alicia Fox. After the match Dar got in Sasha's face and got slapped for it. Alicia then laid out Sasha in revenge. Apollo Crews and Kalisto are talking backstage about Apollo working for the Titus Brand. Kalisto says he's just doing Titus' dirty work then asks if Crews jumped Enzo. Crews said that's not how he works and him and Kalisto have been friends for years so he should know that. Titus O'Neil walks by with a fidget spinner and asks if Kalisto is wanting to join Titus Brand International. Kalisto says no and Titus books Apollo vs. Kalisto. Goldust has a 24K Production segment wearing classic facepaint and sitting in a director's chair. He says gold never fades, but R-Truth's time in the spotlight is. Someone tries to hand him a script but he throws it down and says he's in the director's chair again and he decides how this one last film ends. The Golden Era has returned. Alexa Bliss is interviewed backstage about hitting Bayley with the kendo stick. She says it felt good to get that frustration out on Bayley and mocks the idea of Bayley doing anything extreme as she is too nice. Alexa says she'll do what she did to Bayley to Mickie James tonight. Kalisto defeats Apollo Crews. Crews was distracted by Titus barking orders at him from ringside. Matt Hardy defeated Sheamus to determine the gimmick of the tag title match at Extreme Rules. Matt Hardy picks a cage match for some reason. Austin Aries defeats Tony Nese by submission as Neville watched by ringside. It was announced on commentary that Neville vs. Aries at Extreme Rules is a submission match. Neville attacks Tony Nese after the match and puts him in the Rings of Saturn. Aries doesn't give a poo poo. Alexa Bliss defeats Mickie James. After the match she hits Mickie with a kendo stick and Bayley comes out for the save. Bayley gets the kendo stick away from Alexa and Alexa runs scared. Samoa Joe and Bray Wyatt defeat Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. After the match Finn Balor walks up to Angle watching the match backstage. Finn asks to not be left out of the fun. Angle agrees and makes Finn vs. Joe vs. Wyatt and Seth vs. Roman for next week to end Raw. ____________________________ Smackdown Results

Backlash didn't sell out. Was on its way until matches were announced and ticket sales died almost immediately. No SD PPV since the brand split has sold out and this very likely did the worst

I thought that was a little overblown till I learned that they'd sold 9500 before the card was announced and after the card was announced they only ended up selling like 300 more tickets
