Any chance that earth fleet may be looking to bypass Saturn and instead take Uranus? Taking Saturn would lead to war, but they could scoot right by, and claim Uranus in the name of stabilizing the crumbling IC. Its not as big a prize as Saturn, but at this point there would be nothing stopping them and little to no immediate consequences. Anyone think this is likely? And if so, is there anything we can do about it?

These plans that involve getting concessions from Earth before facility is revealed sound good, but we should also be thinking about how this affects earth's internal politics. Earth is known to be in danger of internal division already. We got a reminder recently on their ship when we saw the lavish fittings in it. They spend a lot of resources trying to keep their people happy because they must. I am sure it's helping their base to say that they are ahead on jump tech and securing resources in new systems. To announce publicly that "hey, jumps make you crazy, and by the way, aliens are out there and want to kill us" may throw them into massive turmoil.

Not saying we shouldn't mess with Earth, just that we should plan for possible internal problems on their side, and what their reaction may be to us going public. Will they try to cover it up, claiming facility is a hoax? Try to rally their people by using Mars as a scapegoat? Actually agreeing with Mars and accepting that we are taking the lead in protecting humanity just does not seem likely. What does everyone think?

Did they just sneak one by us? As worded, we technically would be expected to report Facility's existence. Was this in the 1C we voted for?

Why would we need to report on facility? I think it is quite clear that it is a citizen of Mars at this point and certainly not an alien. Any new space horrors we meet can be introduced to Putin though.

Sell the IC ships to Titan at super low prices (I agree with roughly 200% scrap value being fair) but take all payments in civilian ships or infrastructure since we plan to contract a lot of work to them already. Also, can we get a list of what they have and what we are likely to give them? Let's make sure they get a balanced force that will be able to accomplish what we want come a war with the UT.

We need to make sure Terra understands the pit is the exclusive domain of Mars Off-World Fisheries. If any of our livestock comes through their wormhole, we expect it to be returned immediately.
