its june 5 2017 and apple is 82.2% of the way to being worth a trillion dollars what would you have gotten for that money last year? phones: uhh they added a second lens on the plus and made the thing halfway water-resistant tablets: nothing. in fact they replaced the ipad air 2 with something worse. laptops: the touchbar is a dumb gimmick but other than than the new mbp is cool desktops: ??? software: imessage has stickers now? well only on ios they didnt have time for the mac apple tv: still not 4k ityool 2017 apple watch: ok the watch had a good update but im sure as heck not gonna buy it now that bluetooth 5 is coming out routers/time capsules: discontinued a link i found says apple employs at least 10k engineers and designers. what the gently caress have they been doing all day long this whole loving year? they cant all be trapped in the alternate universe where tesla doesnt exist and making an apple car makes sense. i expect to find out today, along with a personal apology from tim cook for being so bad. make sure to join me and we will experience it together and it will feel as if you had friends. the thing is at 10 pdt

The battery in my mid-2010 macbook pro started to swell and I thought maybe it was time for a new laptop but after seeing what they've done to their lineup I just ordered a dodgy battery from ebay, took the machine to bits, hosed it down with contact cleaner and applied new thermal grease. Ready for another 7 years while apple figures out how to make reliable, repairable computers again
