Thal

Two weeks out from his... awakening, Thal had deemed it necessary to leave the two youths - Michael and Sam, he had learned, after they'd escaped the cavern and gotten a safe distance from the fierce wolf - mostly because the pair's parents, though generous folk, had grown tired of playing host to the strange android. So, with many thanks and a promise to return one day and tell the pair a great tale of adventure, Thal - and he thought of himself as that name, now, given that he didn't even know what THAL-1N1M meant - had headed into the city, searching for a purpose (or at least, someone who might recognize him). Luckily, it had turned out that the few metal coins he'd found at the bottom of his satchel (a satchel that seemed to defy the limits of it's size, no less) had been worth enough of the local ceramic coins that he had managed to stay in this inn for a few days, watching the local adventurers.

Peering at the board, the awkward wiry man, Thal, studied the new tasks upon the board - calls for aid and adventure! - and listened as the group of adventurers nearby argued as to what task they would undertake. Dwarves! The lady with the pointed ears had mentioned dwarves, and Michael had been sure that where there were dwarves, there were gnomes, and if anyone could help Thal, it would be gnomes.

Speaking up, Thal asked, "Are there gnomes in Bortevo? Michael said to find the gnomes."

Thal

Thal stares into the one of the horses' eyes, studying the creature, before nodding and saying quietly to the horse, "I know, Gregory. Don't worry, I'll protect you if anything comes out of the entrance."

Thal

Slow to react to the danger, Thal finally sprung to his feet in the wagon's bay and looked over the side of the wagon, down at the fierce creature. Quickly judging the distance between them, he pointed at the creature. His circuitry began to glow faintly under his skin as he gathered a tiny amount of psionic energy. Aiming carefully, he released a jet of freezing air from his palm, infusing it with a mental assault as it flew towards the creature. The ice cold stream with it's entwined mental attack was enough to raise the hairs on anyone's arms as it flew past.

Thal

Thal's head popped up behind the bullette's carcass, where he'd been hanging on for dear life as the wagon bucked from it's wild ride. The circuitry beneath his flesh was glowing as bright as a torch now as motes of light swirled around his vicious cut from the beast's claw, repairing much of the damage.

"I... don't like these things. Too angry," announced Thal, glaring down at the creature, "Too angry by far."

((Repairing Nanites auto-activated as soon as Thal was hit, recovering 6 hp.))
