I was in the Android beta like a year ago and thought about checking out the new one but apparently the betas are different because it didn't recognize my account. I'll probably never really use it but I hope the experience is good. The Android one worked great for me on wifi but I was only playing Forza which wasn't the greatest for detecting input lag.

So it turns out I'm really enjoying The Division. Early in the game for some reason I got about half a million credits from selling a piece of gear from some mission or other. I've run down my balance to about 4000 credits now, at Level 18, so it might start to become more of a slog to level up further. Anyone got experience of levelling up higher than this? I also took delivery of The Division 2 yesterday and intend to play it either after completing the first game or being advised to abandon the first if the grind becomes too much. Are there any other similar games that are held in high regard that I should consider?

Can't wear the thing since it's level 30 but selling it tides you over for the whole game  Levels 15-30 are still drat slow tho, I enjoyed the story enough but it's annoying that so many cool mechanics are endgame-only

Tbh I would play until you get tired of it, then move on to Division 2. Once you play 2 you're not going to want to go back.

I've just swapped between both configs and there's not much difference to my (non-audiophile) ears, so I suppose it is the stacking that makes it sound bad to us. I'm going to play around some more, it's nice to have options. I'm hoping they add an option to disable turning on the console via the headset, I'm using it for PC as well as X1X so that's getting slightly irritating. It's coming in future firmware according to one of those support chat agent/rando Redditor conversations, so fingers crossed.

I've been to plenty of concerts with lovely sound, he might be a sound guy but it doesn't mean he's good (or that he knows anything about how to make Dolby technologies or headphones good)

Been great for sports games though. Used to get NHL on huge discount and sometimes madden or mlb. If they did next gen NBA I'd be set.

But I wouldn't have bought Ori or Forza and Gamepass let me find something new I enjoy.

Finally got a Series S. I've had it ordered through Walmart since last Tuesday and it still had not shipped but my Target had one ready to pick up so I got it from Target and canceled my Walmart purchase. Playing Yakuza 0 for now but might pick something more cutting edge just to see something closer to modern graphics. I've been kind of out of the loop on big name games since 2015 if it wasn't on the Switch.

Apparently they're one of the few annualized sports entries that doesn't try to gently caress over the last gen when the next gen starts. I've heard it'll take a year or so until next gen graphics and mechanics set it.

True, but what I find weirdest of all is the trailer doesn't show where the game is located and I'd think that's the number one thing a TDU game should announce first. They had the teaser which showed nothing, now we've had the official trailer which showed nothing, so I don't have high hopes at all. I'm guessing Horizon 5 is two or three years away but I hope they finally make one set in Japan. They have a lot of staff from Bizarre Creations and the Japan tracks in PGR4 looked incredible at night, so a Horizon game set in Japan with a city location on the map like Edinburgh in Horizon 4 would no doubt look stunning. A map that took us from that to small villages and mountain drift routes would be really fun, they could pack a lot of variety in there.

They have two teams. I think there’s a decent chance FH5 makes an appearance in a couple months and releases this year. It’ll already have an extra year on the usual cadence to help with the slowdown from COVID and people moving over to the Fable team.

I thought fh4 was a better game than 3 in almost every way except I wish they kept those single player championship series events from 3. It was basically just 3 strung together single races that kept a running score and there was a winner at the end. It seemed like there were endless amounts of those.
