My series X randomly can't read my mafia definitive edition disc. I had downloaded it but never played it. Everything else is fine, disc isn't damaged. So weird.

Just finished mafia definitive edition, which I thought would be a mediocre filler game in this drought, but it was really good and I feel bad for never giving it a shot when it was new. Too bad they apparently didn't put the effort into remastering 2 as much. Edit: it's basically a whole new game. Holy poo poo. Picked up the new official Xbox wireless headset today. It's... pretty good. Great for the money, better than any turtle beach poo poo, but not on the same level as my previous wired hyper X cloud revolver S, which are $100 more here in Australia. Being truly wireless with good volume and mute buttons is nice. Super easy to set up and no connection issues. Bass is good, arguably too boomy. Spacial sound was good on RS Siege, besides the bass drowning out audio sometimes. When the mic was on it was constantly picking up audio according to the icon on the screen despite not breathing on it and being in a silent room, which was annoying. Biggest drawback is It fits REALLY tight on my giant melon. Almost too small to fit over the bottom of my ears. But I have a bigger head than just about anyone. I forgot non-wired headphones have to be charged. Another minor annoyance. Going to give it a few more days (EB Games lets you try for 7) and see if I can get used to it. It's a good option for most people and better than any PS4 first party headsets I had (gold and platinum) at least.

I can't find any game that is interesting me. Bounced off Immortals, and am now playing nba 2k21 career mode, which is surprisingly well done. Also playing NHL and Madden even though I have lived on the other side of the world for two years and don't follow North American sports anymore. Gonna give Ghost of Tsushima another shot since everyone is so hyped about that, but I liked Valhalla more despite it being worse than the previous two AC games.

Re-downloaded battlefield 5 which I didn't hate and 120fps didn't make me love it anymore. Still sucks to play for nearly an hour and lose by 5.

Series S is now $100 off at big W (like Walmart) eBay store in Australia. No stock shortages for that one here. As for the show 21, I've played dozens of games previous years but still said "what the gently caress" and turned it off during the controls tutorial.

Chivalry 2 is pretty fun. Kinda like what I was hoping For Honour would be. Doesn't take itself too seriously but has depth. Not totally sure how lasting it will be though. Also series s is now $70 off in Australia as no one is buying it.
