When I increase the resolution on my PC games, the amount of STUFF I can see increases (this is what "fov" is, right?), like, I can see a wider amount of the map.

The FOV doesn't change in my XB1 games when I toggle between 720 and 1080P.

Seems like the XbonX is just going to make it so I can buy a 4K TV and not worry about my games actually looking worse?

I just bought one of these and I have absolutely no idea why. I have the "Elite" Xbone already with the hybrid SSD drive so I probably load faster than the Scorpio anyway.

Oh well, the smaller device and lack of power brick will look better on the mantle

I'm a consumer whore

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I am not very tech literate and having a hard time finding a monitor to use with my Bone X. I want either a 24" or 27" that can do 4k and offers HDR. Prices apparently range from ~$400 to $900 so I must be missing some details here.

Does anyone just have a "this is 4k with HDR" recommendation they can throw at this big idiot

I got an email from Best Buy that looked like a "let us know if your payment information changed" but it was actually requiring me to log in, re enter payment info, and press Submit in order to maintain my pre order.

I'm guessing they're trying to cull some orders

I can't believe how many of you guys actually got your pre-order accepted. I spent hours trying to do it on multiples sites the minute pre-sales went live and ended up empty handed.

It was bizarre. I slept in that day, realized pre-orders had gone live two hours earlier, went to best buy dot com, clicked "add to cart", clicked "pay now", and it was done.

The stars aligned!

Weird, mine just took me to the same order page I usually see on their site and it had my card number up as I entered it before. Still 'awaiting authorization' at the moment.

(Re) enter your credit card information and make the payment. They're awaiting authorization, from you.
