Use the payout to buy that Eagle. Honestly, with how lovely this all was, it's a miracle no one was hurt. Woulda been a completely different story if you had been behind the wheel. Hope that idiot loses his license.

Funnily enough I usually park around the other side of the house, was only out front because I had a load of canning jars to bring inside on Friday. If my truck hadn't been there he would have jumped the curb and wiped out the front of my neighbors house, who are in their 90's, so I really took one for the team here.

One last swan song for this. Spent a month going back and forth with my insurer, which went as follows:quote:Them: We'll give you $1900. Also we don't know who is at fault yet so we're holding the $300 deductible until we do. So in the end I turned a $1000 profit on the thing, after tires and repairs are taken into account. Which is way more than I could ever have sold it for, with a dying transmission and dead speedometer.   badass green truck!
