Good news for texan samurai,

Texas repeals ban on illegal knives' so get ready to carry a sword

Signed by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott on June 15, HB 1935 repeals the ban on daggers, including dirks, stilettos and poniards, swords, spears and, yes, Bowie knives.

With the passing of this bill, these knives may be carried anywhere in Texas except in places such as schools, colleges, correctional facilities, houses of worship and bars.

I was hoping for more pics but this is good. Time to look for jobs in Texas. I just can't wait to balance a giant handgun with a bastard sword.

Was there any logic to letting people open carry like actual guns but not letting them have knives in their pockets or was it just a fairly transparent attempt to deny weapons to poors?

I'm gay as heil!

I purchased the "tenshi" from Cheness Swords
http://www.chenessinc.com/tenchi.htm

mostly because of this video from "the sword buyers guide"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHsfGWkO7SM

My roommates and I set up a bunch of plastic water bottles on top of our 12 foot diameter trampoline. My friend swung a little low and split the canvas half and things were never quite the same in the house.

The sword got really scratched up and has a few visible dents from going after branches on the tree in my backyard similar to the ones the video dudes sword had after taking on that metal pole. I'm not sure its possible to repair them and I never struck anything other than plastic, half inch branches, and some fabric the trampoline.

A porn actor suspected of fatally stabbing a former co-worker and wounding two others during a violent rampage died Saturday after he jumped off a cliff following a dramatic, daylong standoff with police in which he threatened to kill himself with a samurai sword.

I watched this live at the time I think the whole chase and standoff was pretty hilarious.
