I never beat Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, and never will because they're honestly not good games. Morrowind is the best of the three games but it looked like rear end since day one and it's unplayable now. Especially with the archaic hit/miss system killing immersion.

Plebian Parasite posted:Blizzard is probably the worst game dev on the planet, they don't do anything but turn good ideas from other devs into a sparkly manipulative garbage for the easily fascinated and they're almost singlehandedly responsible for the worst trends in gaming. I have played Overwatch more than any other FPS on PC in the last 5 years. I've played StarCraft more than any other RTS ever. I've played WoW more than any other MMO ever. This isn't like a counterpoint or anything, I'm just confessing that I am one of the garbage-consuming, easily fascinated people. The storylines are always, 100% awful and the big-shoulder artstyle is atrocious, but the gameplay is always good. Overwatch is the best Blizzard approach to story-telling: not including a story (and not letting Chris Metzen touch it).

Conversely to that guy who likes wholesome good endings, I don't like heartwarming endings. I'm thinking of games where a group of diverse people, usually including a "thief with a heart of gold", become strong enough to literally kill God and, to a man, abdicate their power and wealth entirely to become the master of their dojo or teacher at a school instead or whatever. At least D3 recognizes that, ya know, some dude punched the devil to death and then killed death itself. Hopefully he won't do that thing that every other person ever does when they are in a position of unrivalled superiority. Fried Watermelon posted:Fire Emblem even has swimsuit dlc I looked it up, and this was actually a thing. Just look at regular anime porn, don't do this weird poo poo people drat.

I used to organize pug raids in Wow and if the items I wanted dropped I would wait until everyone left and steal those items. Especially mounts.

The last video game I really, really enjoyed with no reservations was Chromehounds, natch. TW:W (with mods) is the only game I have felt the same way about since then, but I guess that means I had reservations.
