I do something similar, but I have my 9S with his ice/water/earth imperil along with two tidus chaining Quick hits (they both have brotherhoods) + friend olive trueshot finisher.

Just play Granblue at this point. It's like the most generous game I've played thus far and you can grind the best characters.
