Tilith: All stat buff Turn 1 and full heals the party afterward
Ling: Status cleanse on Turn 1 if someone's asleep and applies DEF/SPR break on Turn 2+
Marie/Minfilia: All element resists + Shellga I guess?

If I ever decide to run it again, I would bring a different comp knowing that the Left Arm's tankbuster bypasses WKN's Bring It On damage reduction. Thankfully everything was cleared on the first attempt.

It does not from what I read in the reddit Discord. The Berserk bug was patched this morning.

This trial is a pure gear/TMR check for all 6 units. Global players can't brute force (10-30 minute clear) it unless their comp includes 2+ Fryevias or 2+ Aileens. We don't have the JP powercreep units yet.

Most people doing it the Normal way takes 2-3 hrs+. Someone on NeoGAF took 8 hours doing it the Normal way with Ace + 2 Cids.

Both methods heavily revolve around Reraise (Rem or Rikku's LB) because your units are going to die multiple times. Rikku's LB isn't reliable unless you have Kelsus's accessory and at least 2x Jack's Ignorance materia.

Why 120 turns? I had to kill it twice for the LB mission then had to stall near the end of its second life to make sure every malboro was within kill range.

Rikku:

Override + Aigaion Arm with 3 Ignorances for LB building and ribboned for status immunity. Used LB every single turn.

Rebertas:

Fire Breath into Mystic Thrust combo. Vernard + Crimson Blood on both.

Ling:

Had Bushido Freedom, Rikku's Pouch, and Pod 153 equipped. Never had a chance or need to use Pod 153 though. Used Libra to check the Great Malboro's HP when it got <1% to gauge how much damage I was doing to when it had full defenses.

Ace:

Fully enhanced and used as a mana battery and fire imperil.

Wilhelm:

Used General's Battlecry every chance he could. Didn't need to provoke with everyone dying constantly, but his counters were helpful for building LB.

All missions in one attempt. Took 4 attempts total including a 1% wipe. :gonk:

1. Zargabaath (Lakshmi)
- 100% phys evade: Do not use Ring of the Lucii because the Holy counter fails the No White Magic Mission
- 30% mag evade
- Naturally tanky
- 60% stat buff + blind/confuse resist every 3 turns
- Counters phys/mag attacks (50% chance) for LB/esper drops. He was doing around 1% just from counters.
- Single target mana battery (including on himself)
- 50% all element resist party buff
- Can MP drain
- Summon (Lakshmi) before the 60% threshold for mission

2. Illusionist Nichol (Titan)
- Dual-illusion Redirect on Zarg + 45% atk/mag break every 2 turns
- HP/MP regen LB
- Summon Titan before the 60% threshold for mission

3. Tilith (Diabolos)
- Stat break resist every 3 turns
- Mana battery
- Diabolos for 50% dark resist
- Full party heal
- No white magic
- backup 40% elemental resist buff

4. T.Terra (Ramuh)
- Awakened
- Ramuh has Osmose
- Magical Activation -> Chaos Wave Awakened x2

5. [Friend] T.Terra (Ramuh)

Fight doesn't start until the 60% threshold so take your time stalling to build LB/esper for the missions beforehand. Once you reach ~41%, you need to fully buff up your damage dealers to get ready to two turn him. You will not survive under the 40% threshold for more than a turn if RNG chooses a bad skill rotation (ie: dark or fire debuff into fire or dark magic aoe).

This was my first attempt. The video is longer than the fight actually takes due to my brainfarts when choosing actions, checking buff timers, and waiting for the counterattack animations to play out.
