I had and idea and wanted to get an opinion. I recently finished a HTPC build and for shits & giggles was thinking of trying to track down a wireless, programmable number pad to use as remote for Kodi, Netflix and such. I've never made my own macros before, but after looking into it it doesn't seem terribly difficult for rudimentary controls. Is there hardware out there that this thread would recommend? Are there limitations that I'm not considering? I'm looking for something as turnkey as possible, but would be willing to pick up some soldering skills if absolutely need be.
