Think of all the poo poo you have to go play and wade through to get that high a Achievement/Trophy Count. Like I'm just proud of my few rare/hard cheevos like clearing RE4 on the hardest difficulty, Seven Day Survivor in Dead Rising and all VR missions in MGS2. Well, maybe proud isn't the right word I guess. I also 100% both Sonic Adventure games when they were ported over to last generation's consoles and while I got all the A ranks legit, I recall that I used well-known glitch to beef up my Chao quickly to get those Chao-related emblems done with in a reasonable amount of time.

Someone mentioned not remembering how to sneak in Snake Eater, you are using the directional buttons right? Using the stick will always alert guards. Kojima really loved the PS2 controller. Like how he was one of the only people to utilize the pressure sensitive buttons to the fullest extent. This actually works against you when you're going through the extra missions in MGS2 and are trying to get through all the hold-up missions as quickly as possible.

Even then the game was anticipating you'd get curious of what pictures you'd take with the digital camera and Kojima went to the effort of making sure the rain outside the tanker caused her breasts to soak through her shirt after the boss battle. And you could take a picture, and Otacon would comment on it.

Andrast posted:So, how many days before the cease and desist happens? Well people like to point to Mega Man vs. Street Fighter as an example of how they deal with things alongside with previous statements by Capcom USA saying that as long as the works are not for profit they...well I just saw this has a Patreon so now I don't know what's gonna happen. quote:Hello! My name is WreckingPrograms and I'm a freeware game developer. I create these in my free time purely for fun, and I do not intend to make a living from it; instead, what I'm here for is server costs. In order to make features like in-game content sharing possible, I inevitably need to host a server, which unfortunately isn't free. Since my games are exclusively freeware, I have no means to pay for the server alone, which is why I decided to create a Patreon page. All donations will go directly to server fees, and I will not be paying myself for developing my games, nor will I make a profit from them. This seems like a sticky situation if the guy keeps the Patreon up. It reminds me during the early years of Kickstarter where people would try and get anything and everything funded up to and including unlicensed fan projects of many varieties. Just less worse in this case because running servers DOES cost money. It's not like "This work I'm going to be giving away for totally free, I just need a few thousand dollars to live off of while I make it."

Yeah I said before that I would have been totally fine if they hadn't made any sequels to GoW and at least end the story of Kratos there. I know the game not only hinted at a Kratos and Zeus confrontation at one point during gameplay but also had those unlockable "Potential Sequels" themselves, but the first God of War was like, a game you could actually say wrapped mostly everything up within itself.

It just so happens the target this time was someone already in a really bad place who feels like they have nothing to lose, not a monolithic company or a developer who took an interest in forming a vendetta against him.

Report him to the Gundam Police. Also last week I was able to get some good deals at my Anime Con's Dealer Room. I always try and get at least one tchotchke but these days most things are both boring and overpriced, but I was able to score two of these blind box Kirby pins that were way more interesting than a rubber anime keychain. Another vendor was also selling import video games and CDs and I picked this up as well. There always was more interesting Club Nintendo stuff in Japan than there was here in the States.

I'd say purposely going with that art style makes it look kinda...dumb? But then again they purposely went with that art style to draw interest from the crowd that exclusively plays free-to-play PC games I guess. Which is admittedly a hell of a lot of people.

He just looked at me with the blankest expression, he couldn’t tell what I was saying. A while later, I was in the bathroom – and this is embarrassing – I was trying to pull down [Donkey Kong 64 designer] George Andreas’ trousers for a joke. I was on my knees and I looked up to see Miyamoto staring down at me. That was the last time I spoke to him.”
