Behold Pascale is like a sibling to me.
Talking shop with her has been fun. She should consider patenting her tools, though. I can pull some strings in exchange for a few favors from her.

Jet Magnum seeks power like mine, but they are unworthy.
You can break down magic into practical theory and science, but the simple fact is that not everyone can channel it. I'm very proud of my degree.

Neon=Neon has much to learn about the world.
Don't tell anyone I said that, though. I still need her to sign my albums.

Zann Marat and I will never see eye to eye.
I've already had my share of horrible bosses.

yo bad news: I'm gonna be on vacation on a boat with no internet access for like a week, from about the 23rd to the 2nd. sorry not sorry. I'll try to set it up so you've got time to just do worldbuilding posts on the slow jet to the space elevator just post about stuff and bullshit until I get back and I can move things along then

The end! No moral.
End of Session

Bond: I have sworn to protect Neon=Neon.

Tricky, I feel like this bond has been pretty well explored. What do you think? Sol will of course keep protecting Neon, but I would probably change it up to highlight a different aspect of their relationship

Alignment: Neutral - Defeat a worthy opponent

Unfortunately, Sol has not had an opportunity to do so.

Did we learn something new and important about the world?

We've learned about the Arrowists and Behold's vast list of (possibly) evil exes. We have also learned a bit about how AI are capable of experiencing the physical world.

Did we overcome a notable monster or enemy?

We defeated a terrorist cell and saved the hostages. That seems pretty notable to me.

Did we loot a memorable treasure?

We have acquired a synth, as by her own admission she qualifies as something that can be owned. Neon also got a pretty sweet sniper rifle.

I agree with what Shardix posted, and beyond that:

Bond
I don't think any apply for Behold this time around.

Alignment: Neutral (Salvage a lost or forgotten piece of technology)
We did get those sweet trucks!

I’m down for changing the Sol/Neon bonds as, yeah, they seem pretty well explored. Agreed with the EoS questions and I don’t believe Neon hit her alignment goal of getting out of trouble on her own this session.

End of session questions seem fine.

I don't think any of my bonds are good yet.

I definitely fulfilled my alignment and race requirements, by pissing off the cops and by explaining how I lost that one arm.

End of session:

Unfortunately, Zann solved problems with tech and not by throwing skeletons at it -- at least this time. Really not living up to that chaotic alignment.

Whatever the hell they went through with Mr. Too Many Eyes probably counts as learning something new, and if not, we now know just how bad Behold's abandoned relationships are.

Zann thinks Jet is a liability again, and will probably continue to waffle between these opinions, but no movement on bonds otherwise until we have some Behold/Zann mad genius action.

Zann is happy to piggyback on the looting actions of the others.

--

Zann levels up to 3 and chooses the Grave Research move to get two spells from another class of level 3 or lower, adding Frost Blast (the Wizard's Fireball except cold because this is Business Kel Thuzad, kind of like how David Bowie did the suit and tie thing later in his career) and Class One Reanimation Protocol (the Cleric's Resurrect) as spells. Zann also increases CHA by one.

Also FYI work has is slowing down pretty hard for holiday season so by the time you get done with this job I'll have special moves and stuff set up. Also Lian is getting her own helper moves so there's that.

...how does that work?
In RF 11, Pellegana died in an industrial construction accident. Being a kobold, Dantalion Super-Heavy Construction wrote off the workers comp claim and paved over the construction site as per company policy. Even if they had underwrote the majority of the cost of resurrection, being caught under a mobile power plant doesn’t leave a lot of room for even the finest lich-for-hire to work.

But magic, despite the centuries of scientific investigation, still works in somewhat mysterious ways. The resultant mass of kobold meat, dirt, concrete and exploded industrial equipment took to re-life thanks to construction work agitating the local field spirit that was being concreted over. Successful, spontaneous gestalt entities were hardly common but not really rare enough to warrant anything more than passing curiosity. No matter how much it freaked Pellegana the gently caress out.

The minor demon lord in charge of the project naturally sought to make a deal. Rather than pay the exorbitant costs of rehousing the spirit in another plot of land and reconstituting the kobold's body, DSH paid out Pellegana's contract in full, decided that also bought out the mineral rights to the spirit's land, and forcibly removed the new gestalt entity from the worksite.

In the grand tradition of Semmayana the Turbinemaker, Pellegana wandered around totally god drat lost with no clue what the hell to do. No matter her rocky, concrete-y body surrounding a minced kobold meat core; there was still a kobold in there. The bag of actual gold coins she got paid out with did not substitute for real currency, such as it is, so to travel as far the hell away from there as possible she joined up with a circus act as a strongwoman/kobold/rock and a one person Big Top putter upper.

It was possibly even worse than her work on the DSH worksite, but at least in her new body she couldn't get mushed up and buried in concrete as easy.

Moves:
Armed and Dangerous
When you pick up an enemy and swing them around, count them as a weapon with reach, awkward and forceful tags

Juggernaut (STR)
When you smash into an obstacle roll 2d6+STR. On 10+ choose two, 7-9 choose one:
	-your momentum carries you through
-you cause catastrophic damage to the obstacle, scattering debris everywhere
	-you don’t take any damage

Is That All You’ve Got? (CON)
When you deliberately take the full brunt of an attack, roll 2d6+CON. On a 7-9 pick one. On a 10+ as above
and you only take half the attack damage as it glances off you!
-your enemy is left open after attacking; you can grab or shove them
-you learn one of the enemy’s weaknesses; describe it
-you’re already in the way of their next attack, and can block it with ease
-your lack of reaction infuriates or terrifies your enemy

Showboat (STR)
When you perform a feat of strength in front of an audience, roll 2d6+STR. On a hit you keep their attention
as they watch in amazement or dismay. On 7-9 you also draw unwanted attention to yourself.

Leap (STR)
When you throw yourself into a giant jump, roll 2d6+STR. On a 10+ you land where you wanted; if that’s on
someone deal damage as they absorb your fall! On 7-9 your wild attempts have thrown you off course and you
land somewhere unintended.

Hurl (STR)
When you throw something (or someone!) roll +STR. On a 10+ it hits where you intended, causing class
damage to anything it crashes into. On a 7-9 something has gone wrong, pick 1.
	-it veers off course
	-you’re put in a spot
-you strain a muscle; take -1 STR ongoing until you take a second to stretch.

Security (STR)
When you put the word out that you’re available for hire, roll 2d6+STR. On a 10+ contractors will come to you
with details of protection jobs and information on who they suspect will attack. On 7-9 the available jobs have no
or only vague ideas where the threats will come from.
