tbh i could understand getting pissed off at someone if they talked like they got their work entirely cause of someone they know and you'd spent years working towards getting into the industry i doubt the dynamic will last forever, momo's basically chilled out with aoba already

Season 2 is not wasting any time on getting into personal drama. It is good that Aoba has an experienced panic buddy, though.

You're not wrong, but they do also seem to put out well respected games so competency is definitely a factor. It's just barely nudged aside by cute girls.

I liked how Momo and Narumi played off each other as roommates, though that scene could have done with way less fanservice.

Fanservice aside, there is something kind of charming about what a massive slob Momo is at home, and she and Naru have a nice dynamic. More anime about cute working-class roommates/girlfriends please.

I got through the first couple episodes last night, and I'm glad the emotional drama parts are resolved within the episode to keep things overall light. I find the issues each character has to deal with so far (Aoba being in over her head, Ko having to deal with a major failure, Yun not having a driving passion, and Hifumi being Hifumi) pretty relatable, I just don't want drama to take over, which it largely hasn't. That's me taking this show probably too seriously.

The story has a general tone of "yeah things happen, but everything will basically work out in the end because we're all basically good at our jobs and we all like each other."

You can't be a character with a :3 face and then be a big meanie, that's not how this works. Haha I don't know, it's like Nenechi is on a super trial basis and is doing grunt work compared to what you're doing that'll be in game. She's shown improvement too for having 0 knowledge just months before. Get off her back new girl :<
