I don't think it's a coincidence that the 3 Cubs playing the best this season (Happ, Jay, Davis) weren't on the team last year. An extra month of offseason does wonders.

I'm finding it a very bad omen that they put Montero straight in as catcher and put Martin on 3B again. Almost as if they're getting ready for a big vacancy at 3B in the very near future.
