I tried drawing at the mailbox, but I had to erase it because there was a game patch and you can't upload a drawing from an unpatched game, so there's a couple hours' work gone. Some of the drawings I see are really similar to official or existing art, are people using some kind of program to print these things? One was a greyscale version of the Pearl/Marina reveal art

Having a lot more fun than in the last demo. It cut me off during the tutorial so I had no idea and put it down after a few minutes. I've still only used the basic water pistol-looking thing, though. I got all the way to cake king!

e: also i ran out of batteries and i don't have a tv so i'm done for today

I expect Cake to win for the sole reason I fought like 4 teams total and only won 1 due to messing with weapons I'm bad with (roller and splatterscope). Jetpack still sucks rear end and feels like it's impossible to kill anyone with. I don't get it at all and can't wait to get the missiles on the splattershot so I can forget that trash exists.

Also I thought Stingray is supposed to let you see people through walls? That thing is still utterly hot garbage.

The jetpack seems to want a direct hit to splat someone. I mostly used it to ink stuff, but if someone sees me up there I'm gone. Even the roller guys had an easy time hitting me with their jump attack

Unlocks are fun, except in local multiplayer games where multiplayer stuff is unlocked in singleplayer mode. The map rotation's ok, I was able to get used to just two maps at a time in the demo instead of having to learn everything at once. Lets you get into a groove. I hope that we don't have the same maps at the same time each day, though, that'd suck

These Callie/Marie amiibos are hard to get

In Salmon Run I have trouble with ink management. I don't have enough ink to throw a bomb when I need it because I've been shooting all the little salmon, and the flying missile guy is the worst boss because I keep getting cut off when I run from the missiles

I expected a reward for getting all the collectibles in singleplayer, does the book actually do anything?

Buying all the weapon upgrades in singleplayer unlocks purchasing 50% food tickets for 1500 power eggs. It's not really worth grinding for but you'll have tons and tons of spare eggs if you're unlocking the hero weapons for turf war. Don't bother smashing every crate

Completing a level with each weapon also awards a 50% food ticket but that's totally not worth the time

I''m ranked one above go-getter. I've had the manhole one a couple of times and it was pretty smooth. Grillers I've had a hard time with unless the gatling gun player's on the ball. Keeping the stage inked makes running away a lot easier, too

What's the best way to play handheld? Motion control enabled has my camera always pointing at the sky due to how I hold the Switch. Using the sticks works fine but surely there's a trick to getting handheld working nicely portable.

I can't get it to go either, I just have to hold it the way it wants me to. Set sensitivity to maximum imo

I got a round of glowflies when I had the charger. The whole team was at the bow of the ship so all the salmons came in straight lines, it was great

You only need to complete the campaign with the weapon you want to use. They're still restricted by level and the umbrella isn't available

When I get the roller during Salmon Rush special events I think it's best to ignore bosses to focus on salmon, eggs, and keeping the stage inked. I'll only kill bosses out of opportunity or if someone's in trouble. I'm convinced the ink helps the most
