I watched about every episode as they premiered (pretty sure it came on after Eric André) and just thought it was average MDE humor until it was pointed out; and now on rewatches I see the stuff that got it cancelled. It isn’t every sketch but it’s in about every episode. I’ll still watch new videos on the main MDE channel when they rarely come out. Some of his stuff can still be pretty funny without being problematic or whatever (his recent one about naming his children was pretty funny), but there it’s always a gamble since there is some fairly offensive alt-right pandering in a lot of them and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. His commentary on the Charlottesville stuff was legit hosed up and World Peace needed to be cancelled in retrospect

He got his poo poo cancelled in the most avoidable and stupid way possible. nah that was funny, and honestly adult swim didnt have problems with that at all or else they would have censored it like they did with the interstitial text dumps and the logo they had big problems with him pointing out the jEwIsH cOnSpIrAcY on twitter and harassing other adult swim people (sam heidecker / brett gelman) in my heart of hearts I think that sam wasn't completely hosed at some point when making the show. in all of his other videos (standups aside) I have a hard time thinking of any skits that were racist or offensive. he viewed AS airing his show as complete endorsement of his ideas and thought he could do/say anything because the show was popular. eventually he absorbed /pol/ and got a terminal case of irony poisoning and died. out from his ashes spawned the "donate to the daily stormer" "5k bounty for pizzagate" sam. the timeline gets pretty screwy but you can tell once his show was cancelled he started going full unredeemable crazy. I think if, right after it got cancelled, if he apologized and did a 180 world peace could have gotten picked up somewhere else. too bad so sad, what a retard, samuel hyde

I'm not denying that he doesn't have his moments, but I've suddenly realized why I don't like Sam Hyde. Despite all the effort he puts into turning himself into the most disgusting clown in existence, I think that at heart hes way too please with himself. At the end of the day hes an incredibly smug and condescending prat who's self deprecation is just another vector through which he punches downward.
