MDE fans are the worst part of MDE. I think Sam and Nick are funny, Charles kinda falls flat when it's only him. Their stand-up is pretty rough, but when they try to troll in real life, it's great. The TEDx, Anime, Twitter-AIDS, Brony dating sim, Deagle Nation vs Brianna Wu, etc. were all great. Getting TheReportOfTheWeek as reported as lost in the Manchester attacks was funny too. I thought World Peace was pretty good. it initially got renewed then I think internal politics and the Buzzfeed article did pretty much kill it, so it's not really paranoia. I think he legit feels like he got a bad deal. In the end they said Adult Swim doesn't really give them much since it was a first season thing and laughed about people thinking he was rich now. I guess he is making a video game, another big video, KSTV 2. He's getting really fat and seems to chain-smoke cigars.

Also according to a post he made a few years ago he's 6'1. He doesn't look short in the clips and I thought 5'8 sounded odd. My experience with MDE's stuff was that it wasn't reliably funny but when it was it was very funny and it was worth watching the episodes. Even if I didn't laugh more than once they were surreal and the bits short enough I didn't get bored. I think Sam Hyde seems mentally ill.
