As a bonus, if I'm reading the lack of asterisks on the NJPW World schedule correctly I believe all the shows this year will not only be live but have full camerawork and commentary.

God I am so excited for G1, it's the best sustained period of wrestling in the year.

I haven't got a goddamned clue who is going to win, my best guess is either Omega or Naito.

Depending on the Block A and Block B finalists, or whoever wins this and how things go between now and Wrestle Kingdom, we might finally get Omega/Ibushi too

Watched Omega's interview on New Japan World and given the setup while I don't think Sanada is going to win they do seem to be setting him up for a push

Best time of the year. Wishing all the dudes good health and all of us a lot of fun poo poo. Still think it's Naito's year but definitely hoping for Kenny to repeat.

so does this mean they're gonna do Naito/SANADA with Naito going over? If so, awesome (though I'd still like Naito/Omega)

I bet against K-1

will they ever do a transcription of the press conference? Even if I have to feed it into gtranslate, I wanna know what the gently caress Suzuki said to Omega cuz it sounded scary as poo poo.

Staying healthy due to sheer coincidence.

This is my first G-1. How long do the nights last? I'm on the west coast so I was wondering if staying up for the entire event was possible.

Varies. Most shows tend to be a shorter than the 4-5 hour big show NJPW norm until the Sumo Hall shows at the end. Seem to remember most being in the 2.5-3 hour range last year but someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
