[/quote] For specificity’s sake, if anyone’s wondering the exact show, it’s Wrestle Kingdom 7, match 4: Suzuki vs Nagata. Match is worth the ten minutes it runs, too, if only because the crowd is into everything they do. It’s also the last match to go on before we all witnessed Low Ki get himself blackballed from New Japan. It is funny to go look at the cards of just five years ago and then look at the most recent ones and see how insane the surge of talent has been. There’s no Bullet Club back at this point (Karl Anderson is loving teaming with Goto on this card!), no New Japan Rumble to squeeze people into the card, and Akebono and Bob Sapp are both on the card. The weirdest is Bushi teaming with Kushida and Taguchi to face Hiromu and... Liger and Tiger Mask? Man, they have flipped the entire promotion upside down since then.

Depends, are the American dates he’s announced he’s taking before King of Pro-Wrestling? Because that’s where the G1 upsets usually get their title shots. As of right now that card would be Tana/ZSJ, Omega/Elgin, and I guess maybe Naito/Fale for the 1/4 Dome match since it’s fairly obvious Naito’s winning this year? And then whoever manages to beat Okada in the tourney.

EVIL didn’t move his head between the top and middle rope in time, which is how everyone is supposed to take it, so instead he gets a knee, attached to a guy running full speed, pushing him into the middle rope temple first. It’s nasty to watch and dude goes down like a sack of bricks immediately afterwards and he is so hosed for the rest of the show.
