I couldn't even imagine being so far in depths of depression that I had any strong opinions on a Dr. Who character

So this is the second male character to be gender swapped and white washed out of existence from doctor who within the last few years. If you have been unfortunate to sit through any of the last couple of series you would have been subject to nothing but an endless stream of male bashing crap, and now this. This has been happening all across popular culture for years now, the feminisation and removal of men and male role models. Over and over again. If it's male, it must be eliminated. The simplest of responses? Don't tolerate it, not even for a second. If some form of media you enjoy does something like this, do not buy it. You should take a similar action that many men here have taken with abusive relationships. "oh I'll just let that slide" is not the way to go with these things. I used to occasionally watch doctor who, but now I'm actively refusing to watch it (not that such a thing is going to be particularly hard), as with any other media that decided it's ok to spit in my face. Let your voices be heard that you're not going to roll over and allow yourselves to be insulted and white washed out of existence. Frankly that's a good lesson for life in general.
