I already crossposted over in SAmart, I got 2 lawn tix for Knotfest (Slipknot, Volbeat, Gojira, Bemeoth) at Tinley Park(hollywood amphitheater) in Chicago this Sunday August 11th. 2-for-1 since I'd rather see them used than wasted, $25 gets both (2) lawn seats. Weather looks like it'll be hot as balls, big surprise for middle of August huh? I'm just not a huge fan of the bowl type arenas(Tinley, Alpine Valley, Marcus, etc) for shows like this. Not sure if it's the little bit of slope compared to a flat setup, or more likely its the seating in front of the general lawn area. Went to Slayer last summer there and while we were at the front rail of the lawn area, it didn't seem right to be there and then STILL have thousands of motherfuckers in front of you. I'm sure it'll be a good old time regardless
