Australian woman Justine Damond shot dead by police in Minneapolis

quote:

Justine Damond, aged 40, was shot dead in Minneapolis about 11:30pm local time on Saturday after two officers responded to a report of a possible assault.

Her stepson Zach Damond, 22, said she called police after hearing a noise in the alleyway near their house in the suburb of Fulton.

Ms Hodges said she understood the police body cameras and squad camera, which were introduced to the Minneapolis Police Department last year, were not switched on when the shooting occurred.

The two officers involved have been placed on paid administrative leave, which is standard procedure.

Not even white blonde women are safe any more.

She willfully stood in the way of their bullets, lock her up for obstruction of justice IMO.

"Hello police, it sounds like someone is being assaulted in the alley near my house"
"Ugh fine"
*drive over to alley*
*blindly empty a few magazines down it*
*back to the cop shop, job well done*

Ah excuse me, only SOME of the police are gun toting lunatics, and what are you going to do, exclude gun toting lunatics from the police force? Train them not to be gun toting lunatics? Punish the gun toting lunatics? Pfff maybe in your magic fantasy land but in the real world this is how things are. You idiot.

If a cop hears a loud noise he may start firing wildly at nearby people and this is just a normal part of a well functioning police force
