YEAR 4 IMPORTANT DATES & INFO
The current draft date for year 4, 2017 is set for August 27th, at 8:00PM EASTERN.

It is a live non snaking draft, and participation is recommended but you can be auto drafted if you don't make it.
The keeper set deadline is August 21stth end of Day. If you fail to set your keepers, your first 15 picks will be kept.

Keeper rules and pick trading. Draft order will be determined by worst team to best team using these conditions.

Other addendums
� Keeper submission deadline is 1 week prior to the draft
� Pick trade deadline is end of day Friday before the draft (not timezone specific)
      - Pick trades MUST swap an equal number of picks due to Software limitations. (Player X and Pick X for Pick Y)[i] EX: Bob's Julian Jones and Round 7 �for� Ted's Round 2. [/i]
      - Pick trades may be made mid-season (prior to the determination of draft order) by round, and may not be "protected" or include other additional clauses. Pick trades can be made for the two nearest drafts, 
        but not beyond.

So is this 7 round draft just rookies or all unselected players? Do I have to keep things like a defense? Or can I keep 15 players, do the 7 round draft, and then pick up a defense after?

I'm sorry if these are dumb questions. I've just never done a dynasty league before.

It's anyone available iirc. Keep a defense if you want to, there will be lots available I'm sure, but if your team is as bad as mine there's not really 15 things worth keeping anyway so I'll probably end up with a defense if any of mine are good :v:

All unselected players. I got CMike, Gillislee and Crowder last year.

You don't have to keep Kicker or Defense, I haven't kept one yet. I don't know if NFL forces you to draft a complete roster or not.

Correct, your last picks will need to fill minimum roster requirements if they haven't been yet.

Okay > One change - Draft time changed from 8:00 to 8:30pm, EST because apparently 8:00PM disappeared as an option? Hopefully shouldn't be an issue since I think the draft took maybe 45 minutes last year?

DRAFT ORDER LOOK NO FURTHER

For tie breaker rules please refer to the OP.

1. Kicker 1.01 / Team 4 - Worst regular season record, no tiebreakers
2. RIP Harambe - Next Worst record, no tiebreakers

3. Ground Control - 5-8, 1 Playoff win, 0-2 ve Eli Attack bears
4. Eli's Attack bears - 5-8, 1 Playoff win, 2-0 vs Ground Control
5. Jerry Jones Bathroom orgy- 5-8, 2 Playoff Wins

6. Tecmo Bowling - 6-7, Had more playoff wins but it was in the consolation bracket so I gave him the better pick over Last Place.
7. Last Place - 6-7, Had Less playoff wins but it was in the winners' bracket so I gave him the lower pick over Tecmo.

Note: If anyone wants to challenge the commissioner's decision, you'll have to take it to the supreme court where my ruling will ultimately be upheld despite having no hard evidence of being able to make good decisions.

Notes for those not attending:

In the Pre-draft rankings - Make sure to select players but then got to "EDIT PREFERRED POSITIONS" in the pre-draft rankings page, which is a small link under the paragrph on the rankings page. Then make sure kickers and defense are not checked for rounds 1-7 (or 1-5 if you didn't keep a K and / or D). This should help prevent Kicker 1.01 .

In previous drafts keepers took up rounds 1-15. But it's now rounds 1-7 since RIP Harambe only kept 14 players, which with the old method, would have given him the first pick. So in your preferred positions make sure to uncheck K / D for everything.
