Fabdeg

With the aid of the Moons and the Maiar, Fabdeg embarked on his most ambitious project yet. From The Center, all centers, Fabdeg took and pulled and twisted at the fabric of reality. The others sang, sang so loudly that reality started to hum. As the song reached its peak Fabdeg focused the magic of creation and condensed it into physical form. As the Crystal forms a barrier rises around creation, protecting it from the outside. He takes a moment to look over his work and notices how the edges of the universe have been chewed. That is quite worrisome but for now no longer a problem. No, far larger a problem is the words that reach him from Virilas.

There is a fumble, a dissonant cord, a break in the cosmic song. He can only look towards The Bell but it shows no sign of stirring. For the first time since its creation Fabdeg leaves The Center in a running leap, turning into a massive shooting star heading for the Prime Plane.

"It must not be so brethren / So it will be unmade so / Nothing of the Titan must live"

He manifests. A giant man figure made of a glowing purple nebula in the heavens, reaching forth with hand and magic. Fabdeg shall rid creation of this thing. Magic flares, obeys as he grips the reigns of reality once more.

Natosh

Natosh shakes his head at the treatment of the sphere dwellers. To punish the last surviving mortals for being deceived by the Titan, when he had deceived even the gods at first, seemed monstrously unjust. But such was the fear that the gods had of the titan that they would again act without thinking, so eager were they to destroy any remembrance of their presence that they would forget their judgement and act in an arbitrary manner. Still, what could he do? The other gods were not disposed to listening to his pleas for caution.

Instead he goes over to the mortals being created. "You have given gifts. So, I shall do the same. Cypax, you have granted them the power to communicate, and thus to deceive. Virilis, you have given them fecundity beyond measure, so that they might overpopulate themselves, drain their lands and live in misery. Seiraes, you have made them adaptable, so that they might not have fixed convictions or goals, but might be ever changeable."

"So now for my blessing, I give them the gift of wisdom, so that they might overcome their other obstacles. I also give them a second gift, this one from my friend Setlesh. I give them the gift of murder."

By your hand the Sphere is thrust to the Void moon. That it will enter is certain. When you attempt to pull back your hand, however, you find it to be trapped within the Sphere.

Choose!

Option 1- Cut off the hand. Lose a single +2 rank from one of your domains. The Sphere will go into the Void moon and you can trade one of your drawbacks for something more fitting missing a hand.

Option 2- Hang on for the Ride. There is no way of knowing where you will end up or promise of safety or of getting back.

Note: Only Fabdeg may act in regards to this. Events are in motion.

Usually there is an unwritten extra option. This time it is explicitly one of the two.

The Multiverse

A Great Boon is granted to the nascent mortal races, the first few generations will be the stuff of myth and legends. In planes across the multiverse their kind will spawn new gods in time. If left to their own devices their combined power could even challenge and dethrone Gods and Titans alike. A world of remembrance, Wane, is created along with a mystery found. The Dark One bide its time. And finally the god of Magic and the Cosmos finds itself outside the Multiverse.

The Titan Bell lightly moves, making a “Thok” noise.

The Mortal Boon-

The Ship sails, granting sentience to the races of proto-mortals. The gifts given to them manifest in different ways in different species, but the might and mastery of the mortals is awesome to behold. Some of your servitors quail in fear of what the mortals may become, while others break ranks to try and control the destiny of particular planes. The beginnings of civilization rise in the PRIME REALM, and the multiverse follows…

HOLY FRICK YOU EMPOWERED MORTALS ON A ROLL HIGHER THAN ANY I HAVE EVER SEEN. The rise of mortals means we are shifting phase. You may still act as you have but be aware the time of god-power unrestrained is coming towards its end unless you stomp out the mortals soon.

Cypax - 1 BP | 1 FP

The ship sails. Your records indicate these mortals are as powerful as a baseline as the greatest mortal heroes of old. How you feel about this is up to you, but their record keeping and knowledge building will be quite the undertaking.

Virilas (2 FP)

The mortals will be plentiful and fill the land. They will use their minds to find new ways to provide for themselves but still, where groups differ and meet there will be friction…

The prayer line is open, and there are mortals praying blindly. Some pray to spirits, some pray to the sun, moon, and stars. Some are guided by the Servitors into praying to the gods.

Seiraes | ?

The adaptability of the mortals will allow them to live on the highest peaks and the deep oceans, though probably not both in the same species without aid. Their changes will make different lines emerge within the races and allow for potentially radical differences in races between planes.

Natosh | 4 BP

You gave them wisdom. You gave them murder. That killing should happen with intent and foreknowledge is important to the races. Its merits to be weighed and all angles to be considered. The two also work separately, murder for fun and profit and wisdom in all things. Murder, though, is tied to regret...

Jormgir the Serpent - 7(!) FP

Regret as a gift. Regret as a curse. The moral balance needed by mortals is instilled. They can feel bad for things they have done, it can give them empathy or drive them to madness. Still, it makes them whole and is a part of who they are.

Medrok - 4 BP | 3FP

The dark one waits within his realm, counting the mortal souls he manages to ensnare in his nightmare realm.

You are getting a trickling of souls, not huge but some. You gain 4 BP for burning a turn.

Caseria - Wane | 0 FP | 0 BP

It is! The realm is created, with no particular design beyond aesthetics the related ruins and relics are fashioned back together. Almost nothing is complete, but a few of the Final Host are already settling in to catalog the ruins in anticipation of their Master’s wishes.

It is as you intended. You regain use of Sacrifice +2 and can finally access Elemental Fire +4

Your reveries also bring you something strange. They have found a strange energy, it seems tied to the blood of Sixaxia. They can find no other trace of the goddess or her temple aside from the power that lives in you.

Fabdeg - ??? | 1 FP

Within the Void Moon everything turns inside out. Or does it turn outside in? Are such distinctions even meaningful in such a place? The one bonus of the disarray is your hand is no longer holding the sphere within it.

No! The Sphere was holding your hand! You exit the Void Moon with the Sphere. You can see the Barrier. You are Outside. A small trail of corruption seems to ring around the Barrier, as if something terrible was orbiting. You don’t see any evidence to its source at either horizon, at least for the moment. Before you is the Sentinel, with one part of the Crystal in its Shield. All around in the deconstructed inverted sphere the Turtle-ones and the Voluptines do battle. You and the Sentinel stand opposed, but the Sentinel is taking a defensive stance. It seems content to wait. You fear finding out what that may be for.

The Sentinel beats its Shield, ringing with the unsound of what-can-not-be.

Invoking your FP to downshift your action. You *MUST* defeat if not destroy the sentinel to reclaim the Crystal. You know it will allow you to control the Void Moon and re-enter reality. Which you must do before whatever lurks beyond the Horizon orbits here.

EVERYONE ELSE You see the God and the Sphere enter the Void Moon. The Void Moon Shifts, shimmers, and appears to turn at a 90 degree angle to everything else. You do not sense the presence of Fabdeg anywhere. The Bell rings partway through this process.

You think you have the wherewithal to figure out my puzzle vagina?
Jormgir the Serpent - 7 FP

The task is done. Though the mortals are powerful, they have a code, they understand the consequences of their actions. In some ways, that already makes them superior to many of the fallen gods. And in time, some of them will prove their place, stand among the pantheon.

Jormgir can bask in their success for only a moment, before she finally notices Fabdeg's disappearance. He is gone, disappeared into that pitch-black void that he created while she was distracted shedding her old self. There is no sign of him, where he went, or if he might return. Should she pursue? Can she?

Maybe, but she has been working so hard for so long, overtaxing herself time and again in this critical early period. Now that things are in motion, she can- and must -take some kind of rest. Perhaps some of the mortals will be grateful to her for the kinder weathers, or pray to her for safe passage through the harsher ones. Probably not, appreciation is not remorse, but it would be a pleasant surprise if they did. And whether or not they do, the Mother of Life must rest, and trust that her children are old enough to care for themselves for a short time.

7 FP is loving terrifying. Gonna skip my turn to build up some BP to offset it, just in case.

Acting under their own power, the Nagaja +2 will go about easing the storms on those that pay proper respect to the Mother.

Ahh, the other imbeciles have really took their sweet time making sure the new mortals are dangerous. Still, they might be useful in the future when the Damned One returns to whatever realm beyond reality he hides. Medrok quickly calls upon his shadowy steed, and makes sure to open a door from his home to another realm of consciousness, the one where the primitive thoughts and dreams of these lizards dwell. By expertly pulling upon several threads of shadow from his plane, he starts to weave a great nightmare to haunt these powerful, yet still stupid creatures. A nightmare taken from reality, the scenes from the last war. Of course, Medrok makes sure to ensure that this version is more true than truth itself, showing the Fear God on the vanguard of the battle against the Titan, and how all of creation was almost wiped out if not for the intervention of the Gods... And how it might happen again in the future if they dare to forget it.

(+1 FP this turn)

Sensing the change in scope of Creation, Cypax follows the ship of life onto the Prime Plane. Mingling with the tribes of people there They begin to impart the understanding of Fabdeg's lunar magics to the people. Each people receives a fable of these first teachings. Each tribe asked only to offer up their prayers of thanks in return.

To the People of the Squid, Cypax teaches the waterbound tradition of Flow. Magic is slowed through the depths, and long traveling. Cypax comes to them in the tides, the most direct way of feeling the Moons' pull.

To the People of the Scorpion, Cypax teaches the firebound tradition of Fever. They give the scorpion tribe a poisonous flower which causes pain and hallucinations. When consumed as a drug, the moans and sounds of your suffering can reveal magical keys to those who hear them.

To the People of the Bat, Cypax teaches the windbound tradition of Force. Cypax leads them to the arctic zones of the prime plane where the wind itself can kill and the icy cliffs sing your words back to you.

To the People of the Bison, Cypax teaches the earthbound tradition of Faults. Cypax shows them the great cracks of the earth and the rumbling songs of the deep rocks, and how to sing those songs with their own migratory stampedes.

To the People of the Nightingale, Cypax teaches the lightbound tradition of the Sky, racing the avians across the heavens with taunting songs until their are closer to the Moons than anyone.

To the People of the Carrion Fly, Cypax teaches the darkbound tradition of the Grave, hiding the knowledge in the corpses where the People will feed and breed their young.

Action: Share with mortals the Knowledge (+6) of Fabdeg's song-magic. Each tribe that Cypax visits receives what amounts to a magical tradition - which is simply a specialization within song-magic along the lines of Fabdeg's delineation of the Prime Moons (Water, Fire, Air, Earth, Light, Dark.) Some traditions may be lost or traded or stolen, but that is up for the People's Histories to determine... and of course Cypax's own Meddling (+2).

Action: The Final Host (+2) attend to the tribes as well, noting these fables down as the first myths of the new age. The Host encourage the veneration of Cypax among the people visited, showing them a way to pray to Cypax in thanks. Some are granted Inspiration (+4) and great portents for their offered prayers, while others receive only silence, both results playing to their baser Instincts (+2) for gambling.

Caseria - Wane - 0 FP/0 BP

Caseria looks over Wane with a smile on her face. It's almost perfect. The equator is conifer forest, eternally rainy. Harsh blizzards and sharp mountains make up the rest of the land massses. They're watched by mute ruins, some in the form of temples that follow no rhyme or reason, some are simply great pillars that rise so high they penetrate the planetary cloud cover. Lightning jumps across the sky, arcing down into a forest. Caseria smiles when she realizes it's begun a forest fire.

The only thing it's missing is...adaptability. Mortals are clever, resilient, strong. They will adapt to Wane if it stays the same. What it needs is a guiding spirit, the ability to change to meet it's challengers. So she summons a Reverie to her shoulder. A small golden eagle, feathers tipped in red.

"Tell Seiraes my world is ready, and I would like him to bring his...unique touch to it."

The Reverie nods and flies off, towards her friend. With that, she turns her attention back towards this strange little mote.

Seiraes

The other gods are starting to make themseslves known to the mortals of the Prime Realm, and so Seiraes calls the majority of his Hornbearers to himself: "Fall upon the prime realm as comets, aiming for the harsh and unhospitable lands. Show the ways of Metalshaping, Smithing and Alchemy to those that make the effort to find you and then prove themselves worthy. Do not give them anything they haven't earned, you are there to show them the way, not carry them through it"

He then is called by a small bird, a messenger of the Lady of Fire, telling him of Wane, intended to be a proving ground for worthy mortals and a memorial to dead gods, and asking for, as she delicately put it, his "unique touch". The idea has merit, and he starts working for it.

First, he crafts five statues, representing the old Court formed by him and his siblings. He then places the gold statue of deer-headed Valas on the peak of a mountain, engulfed in an everlasting pyre; he finds a small and relatively shallow sinkhole, fills it with quicksilver, and lets the silvery and shimmering statue of Aella float on the surface, as his gazelle-headed sister would have done with a real lake; he finds the deepest cavern and puts in it the leaden staue of moose-headed Golthan, surrounded by the Earth he loved; the copper statue of goat-headed Rhaenon is put in the thickest forest, surrounded by vines with metal thorns; and at last, since the Equilibrium must be preserved, he puts an iron statue of himself in a field of blades.

The statues are sublime examples of metalwork, showing both the path to mastery and the intricate links between metals and their corresponding element that a skilled Alchemist could exploit. He then crafts a system of metal veins guiding those who can understand it to the statues, and instructs the remaining hornbearers to guard and maintain them.

The last piece of work is making sure that Wane will always be harshly challenging to mortals, so that only the worthy might survive. If this means that the vast majority of those who reach it die, Seiraes doesn't care.

Whew. So, instructing the Hornbearers to show worthy mortals the ways of Metal. Invoking Metal (+6), Change(+4), Elements(+2), and taking a FP for Cold (+2), to make Wane actively hostile to those who visit it and to put on it the deepest secrets of Metalshaping and Alchemy.

Fabdeg

Here/Not here he is here now but not? For a moment Fabdeg is confused at the sudden transition but quickly understands. They are Outside. Before him lays the Sentinel, holding its stolen prize. The Sphere lays inverted with some sort of fight going on but its too small for him to see. Most worrying is the trail of corruption and the Crystal being out here and not inside. It must be recovered. There little of creation here, of reality and so magic is that much weaker. But the Crystal is here and not just here but Inside as well. Through it he can feel the rest of creation, each star and planet, the Maiar, all their notes and songs singing. They cry out as the Bell rings and Fabdeg hears them. For the first time in his existence Fabdeg can feel a sense of urgency, a strange sensation for one who works with the infinity of reality.

The Sentinel must not be allowed to summon its master, or whatever this new creature is. Nothing, nothing is more important. He speaks to his children through the Crystal.

"Aid me now, I ask thee / The bell tolls, it must stop / I shall slay the Titan's Sentinel / and retrieve what it has stolen"

They sent what power they can, but it is not enough. Fabdeg reaches through the Crystal again and touches Creation. From around the Divine Amphitheater, from around the Center, stars dim and hum a new song. A song of destruction and magic. More magic flows through the Crystal to Fabdeg and his might grows. It starts to condense and form, a iridescent nova formed between his hands. But still it is not enough to be certain. At last, Fabdeg reaches out to the Void Moon. Here in this place of impossibility made possible, Outside of creation. As he reaches and draws upon, a single note shines out. The lost note. Stars stream down his eyes in a stellar waterfall and join the nova in a shimmering circle. He summoned all of his might.

Fabdegc hurls the NOVA at the Sentinel.

Virilas (2 FP) +1 FP

Something was wrong: What had been intended as a momentary glimpse before the sphere vanished had instead taken the Voluptines along with it. But divine bonds are not so easily severed, and though it was faint and attenuated, He knew that they were in danger. There was little he could do from here, but he tried nonetheless, sending a message laden with his support.

"My beloved ones, be strong. I feel you still, and lend you strength in your time of trial. Should the God Fabdeg be anywhere near you, lend aid to him if you can, whatever he may be doing: The Symphony of the Heavens may be your best hope to return."

The Voluptines +2 bolstered by an upshift via the message, also reinforced by their father's love which is the mark of a Hopeless Romantic +2, are aided in their strife and told to seek out Fabdeg should they withstand the present danger.

As for Virilas himself, the Lord of Life needed to care for the rest of the children. He claimed his throne in the amphitheatre, spreading his consciousness through the entirety of the Cosmos, hunting down true prayers of need, loss and tragedy. Where prayer was misdirected to anything not of the Gods, he sought to ensure it was redirected to the Eight, lest there be another tragedy of the sphere. The mortals should know their gods, and in Virilas' view, the Gods had a duty of care towards their creations. So, once prayer was appropriately routed, he answered them to the best of his ability, dispencing mercies, granting comfort and condolence, providing health, fertility and longevity when such things were sincerely asked with a despairing heart.

He made sure the Mortals knew the Gods, and made sure the Mortals realised the Gods were worth knowing.

Fixing Prayer, making sure it goes to the eight, and setting about answering the prayers that touch upon his domains in a kindly and selfless manner. Life +6 and Plenty +4 to heal, make fertile, provide a sufficiency where want would breed sorrow, to meet needs and aid all mortals when their hearts are truly touched by Despair +2. "Show the mortals hope, tell them of our war, and this great memorial to it. Tell them what they stand to gain coming here. Tell them what they stand to lose."

Within, in the garb of a High Priestess, holding the Dagger of Blood and Sacrifice(+4!), was an aspect of the goddess Sixaxia. She looks around wildly. “Caseria? Is that you? Is the Titan defeated? Did Her/my plan work?” She gasped. “We must still silence its heart!”

Blood Library, describe how you wish. The aspect is a fully sentient being, more powerful than a mortal, akin to a demigod, and contains the memories and a fragment of Stixaia’s being. You also become +2 Patron of Hope

EVERYONE! Except Fabdeg.

The Titan-bell tolls! A massive heart has appeared above the Divine Amphitheatre, pumping a vile corrupting ichor. It seems intent on corrupting the structure, returning form to the Titan’s Body.

Natosh-4 BP

The Plane of Earth becomes a fortress, full of tunnels and traps. A being as powerful as the TItan would shatter it like glass, but mortals would have a difficult go of it, with little reward besides all the Elemental Earth they could carry.

The mortals develop earth cults, promoting pottery and careful tending of the soil.

Your home has a security system. Mortals may press on just because the danger might hold some promise of reward, though. Meanwhile your Earth Cults make you a +2 Patron of Soil

Jormgir the Serpent - 4 BP | 7 FP

Jormgir, for a moment, enjoys her rest, and the feeling of new followers, new worship. She is at peace but, indeed, for only a moment. Already, more is happening. Something above the Amphitheatre, something black and vile. There is only one response.

"No."

It is too great to drown by herself, she is not the destroyer she once was. But she can contain it, while the gods gather their strength.

"Gods and mortals, rally! It would bring back the Titan!"

Every spare ocean, every free storm, every Nagaja with a moment to spare, every patron who can whisper a prayer, all of that power will be gathered into one goal: To contain the ichor before it can spread.

Let's do this. Seas +6, Stormheart +4, Nagaja +2, and Patrons +2 all towards containing the heart and/or ichor safely, ideally in bubbles of roiling water to keep it from coalescing or taking a coherent shape.

Caseria/Stixaia - Wane - 0 FP/0 BP

Even in the chaos, Caseria cannot resist hugging Stixaia - or at least this piece of her. She lets herself have the moment, the feeling of her body pressed against those familiar scars. The smell of inkroot incense and salt that always clung to her. Nothing has ever been more calming to her.

"I love you so much." She whispers.

Then she lets go; there's work to do. For once, she feels ready for it.

"I'll explain everything later, I promise. Right now, we need to know anything you can tell us about this." She says.

Virilas (3 FP)

The pride at the success of the Voluptines is hindered as the titan-heart appears: The return of that baneful entity had to be utterly opposed. He began rallying his forces and powers, but could not help but note an end to divine despair, with life and love rekindled conterminously, He was at Wane in a gesture, to bear witness to the demigoddess reborn. If there was any insight that could be offered against this latest threat, then all the forces of abundant life would be directed where they could be the most effective.

Seiraes - Wane - 1 FP

Seiraes was keeping an eye on Caseria, remembering what happened the last time the small goddess interacted with the remains of a dead god. He is therefore less surprised than he should perhaps be when the appeareance of a new/old demigoddess is met with the chimes of the Titan Bell. He doesn't interfere with their reunion, but after Caseria's plea for information he draws closer, ready to act accordingly.

Fabdeg

The nova wounded the creature greatly, but did not finish it. Fabdeg does not know what is heading towards them but it can not bode well. He shall finish this now. Nebulous arms reach out to grip the Sentinel, to stop it from grabbing what it seeks.

"No more, No more, No more" Fabdeg chants. He forces it to face him.

The stars that make up his eyes begin to burn brighter and brighter.

"You shall fall here oh Sentinel / Your shield will shatter and break / Your might shall crumble and weaken / And Creation shall continue, I Swear" the celestial God sings.

Fabdegs eyes flare brighter and brighter until its light is unimaginable. The sound of light shattering can only be described as horrifying. The Sentinel hears it as Fabdeg unleashes his power, shooting forth from his eyes to burrow into his foe as he holes him fast.

Fabdeg continues to gather energy from everything he can. A thousand more suns dim and hum angrily in Creation. The Voluptines feel their energy go forth. Using Magic +6, Chimes of Heaven +4, Celestial Bodies +4, and Voluptines +2 to grapple the Sentinel and eye beam it.

OUTSIDE: Fabdeg vs Sentinel

The Sentinel melts to ash and slag under the withering gaze of Fabdeg, Where its essence would have been if it were a god is a symbol instead.

He could claim any part of the Sentinel’s quality of Defense. There was also a Shield of Protection +4 and of course the Barrier Crystal +1. It seemed there was also a strange Cube +2 that the Sentinel had been fiddling with behind its Shield…

The Thing Outside the Universe has risen over the horizon. Even at a far distance it is clearly a horrible abomination. You shudder involuntarily.

The creature stammered. “Well, uh, we have a hierarchy. How to explain…” It pulled its head away from the mandibles. “Uh, my manager or the owner?”

He opened up a portal(Manager) to another spot in the Medross, and gestured toward a strange Occult Mirror +0 (Note: Owner) that began to glow and shimmer. Its surface began to resemble a liquid silvery metal and shimmered. Its destination was unknown.

Basically how far up the chain do you want to take your complaint?

Blood LIbrary, Wane

Stixaxia was still obviously getting her bearings. And tearing at her hair. “ARGH! A goddess’ worth of information all in an aspect’s head. Okay. That’s why Stixaxia Prime sent the Library. Okay.” She looked up to see some of the other gods watching.

“Price of admission is still the same, gentlemen. One Drop. Caseria gets a pass since she was kind of the lynchpin of this scheme.” She pierced her hand with the Dagger and dripped a single drop into the Fountain. Then jumped into the seat within.

“Whoa! Yeah! Expanded consciousness. This is more like it! Okay sorry here it is: The Heart is one of the Titan’s many bullshit failsafes. It takes matter, energy, divinity, you name it, if it exists it will absorb it and turn it into Titan-stuff. As long as it was in its chest any damage we did to it ended up healing it more than we actually hurt it. Therefore I, er, Stixaxia Prime phased it out of time and space. She sent me and the Library ahead tied to it. If the Titan took the heart back hopefully I could find allies.” She turned to Caseria. “But I am really glad you found me first. Now, the most important thing is we don’t spend any divine energy or get too close. If the Titan is still around it might go after it, it might have other plans. We never really figured out the bastard. To get rid of it? Either we shove it deep in some chaotic hell dimension and call it good, or we somehow send it into the void where it has nothing to feed on. I’m talking actual void, not just a concept of darkness or vacuum or any of that. It’s nearly impossible to do on purpose. AH!”

She fell forward gripping her head, screaming. Apparently there were limits to how long she could enjoy relative omniscience. “poo poo! Caseria how did you stand being so… limited?!”

The Heart is OP! The Titan is unfair.

Jormgir the Serpent - 4 BP | 7-7=0 FP

You ply your energies, calling forth your servants and taking mortal prayers with you and-

The heart begins to absorb them. Most of your Nagaja manage to stop before being consumed, but the ichor mass grows larger and they cannot pull away, merely preventing themselves from being pulled in further. You find it draining power from yourself as well, you are unable to pull away or even use any of your might for a time.

Erase all your FP. You cannot move away. You can still use your BP, though. The Ichor cloud grows rapidly in response to your unwitting offering. Your Nagaja are also trapped.

Fabdeg

Even after the Sentinel crumbles before his gaze, Fabdeg eyes continue to blaze forth a celestial burning light. Nothing of the Titan may remain. He turns his sight on the symbol it leaves behind and on its items. They all feel the scorching power of Fabdeg, except for the Crystal. When he is done, Fabdeg takes the Crystal and prepares to return to Creation. As an afterthought, he remembers the Voluptines and gathers them safely to him.

"It is done, now we go / Back to Creation, and our home"

Fabdeg heads back through the Void Moon, sorrowful that he might never reclaim what was lost to him by using it so. But...as long as he exists, the chance will remain.

Fabdeg rejects the Titan's creations, and does what he can to utterly destroy them for good. Then he grabs the Crystal, the Voluptines, and heads back to Creation through the Void Moon

Suddenly, the tenuous connection to his Voluptines sharpens dramatically. He gently rides upon their memories to determine where and how they had gone, and what had happened, then borrows one of their voices to share with Fabdeg the current crisis and the inherent problem concerning the heart. Keeping that up as a relay, he also addressed those with him at Wane,

"No divine energy near it, no proximity. Why don't we relocate everything away from it, constantly? It is repellent to creation in its nature, work with that to repel any part of creation it attempts to get near. Leave it isolated, far away from everything, with everything moving away from it if it attempts to approach."

Caseria/Stixaia - Wane - 0 FP/0 BP

Caseria rushes to her love's side when she collapses.

"I promise Stixy, when this crisis is over we'll find a way to put what we have left of you back together." She says.

Her fingertips massage her scalp. She lets a few drops of her divinity flow into her - hoping it will stabilize her condition for the moment.

"Please, just rest for now." She says.

Caseria plants a kiss on the side of her cheek. The Reveries come to her unbidden, curious as ever.

"My dears, please take care of Stixaia. Her word is every bit as good as mine, listen to her." She says.

Caseria stands up again and dusts herself off. She desperately wishes she could stay by her side, tell her everything that's happened, find a way to stitch her back together. It will just have to wait.

"Virilas, Seiraes, could we give Stixy a little space? She needs to rest."

Caseria is standing particularly straight, the sound of crackling fire and the smell of smoke dance on the edges of the room. This is nothing less than the most politely worded kind of order - the first Caseria has ever given to another god.

Caseria will leave The Reveries (+2) to attend to Stixaia while the rest of them put their mind to this crisis.

He assents, and positions himself in relative proximity to Jormgir, but farther back, definitely beyond the apparent influence of the heart. He begins sending tendrils of living wood towards Jormgir, mindful to nullify and negate any that get caught in the titan-relic's strange hold. The eventual aim and intention, should any be able to reach Jormgir, is to surround him in a hollow cylinder and generate a vacuum in the direction out of the field of effect, drawing the sea deity out of danger through nothingness and the absence of anything. If the Nagaja can be saved in the same way, the attempt is made there as well. Should the field attempt to engulf him, he would instantaneously manifest at a greater distance and try again, with all of life's patience.

Rescue attempt! Life +6, Plenty +4, Elemental wood +2 to devise the tendrils of wood and set them rapidly growing in the right direction, seeking Jormgir and the Nagaja's Despair +2, and through rescuing them, provide them with Comfort +2 and Answered Prayer +2 as befits their patron. The ensuing Foundation will undoubtedly branch out into policing other occult things but for now they concern themselves with the Heart and its Effects.

Hey why don’t we try using the mortals? They are far less powerful than us maybe they can act without being eaten immediately by the heart.

Your plan succeeds beyond your wildest dreams. Its Leader is a sociopath, though, but one concerned with the Greater Good and the Ends Justify the Means. Feel free to add to this organization or flesh out your first Exarch(+0)

The Titan’s Heart

The actions of the Mortals, inspired or fooled into service by Cypax’s ruthless Exarch, serve to create a barrier of sorts, slowing but not stopping the flow of matter and energy into the Heart. It is in need of constant care and replacement as it is drawn into the heart, and the ones who serve there call it the Wall. They even discharge the pylons as they are drawn in to free the Serpent-god in a series of tiny pulses. Individually weak, they are eventually enough to push Jormgir and the Nagaja free of the Heart’s pull.

It works wonderfully until the Gods appear and overload it.

If ever you want to lose your minds and say I am unfair and are going to walk I want you all to remember this moment: The time you did exactly what you were told not to do and I ignored it.
