So I'm about to play Fallout 4 for the first time because vague fond memories of Fallout 3, is it better to use a controller or KB/M? There isn't a dedicated Fallout thread to ask in so I'm asking here.

It's so fun to wander and shoot things and make custom guns and just reach into literally every cabinet and pull out a fistful of bullets and molotovs but holy poo poo be prepared for the dumbest story ever

Yea I've heard a lot about how terrible the story is so I've just been wandering around killing and looting stuff - it's pretty fun! I keep finding little doo-dads that I assume are quest objectives or something since they don't sort into junk, it's cool I can pick them up without the associated quest if that's the case.

Also thanks for the advice guys, been using KB/M and it feels pretty good.

Worst part of the game is the intense desire to pick everything up clashing against my limited inventory space :(

Wait for a sale. It's really good, but sixty's still a steep price.
Yea that's what I was thinking, 60 is high for a year old game. I'll just wait for the Christmas sale I guess.

i'm totally 100% on board with you here but i hope you understand and realize as i do that we are in the extremely insignificant minority in this case and that watching streamers is this generation's equivalent of scheduled tv shows

Natural extension of reality TV if you ask me, people are already used to spending all their free time watching random schlubs doing stupid poo poo on the tee vee

Yeah I can't really find any ire in my heart for game devs complaining about having to deal with "gamers". Even setting aside the current race-to-the-bottom market.

AFAIK, Neptunia is just stupid, not pornographic.

And really if they come for stupid we all have way more pressing problems.

...none of the stuff they pulled is pornographic though? lol

When did I say that? Anime aired in this country when I was young, teachers used to tell us not to watch it. We grew up watching Ranma growing breasts, Digimon being poo poo and then Goku powering up for ten episodes, don't have any pearls to clutch when it comes to that. Pretending that some stuff is less porn that other stuff is silly though, when the whole point is that they seem to be going after bare breasts period.
heh
i dont know what theyre going after but i can assure you that that is not it

and some stuff is less porn than other stuff btw. the stuff that plays on hbo and the stuff that plays on pornhub both have titties and yet there is a distinct difference that most reasonable people acknowledge.

Nothing else makes sense though. The only thing flagged games share is that they show naked upper bodies even in their censored incarnations. Already censored games got flagged so that means it can't be plain old sex cause that's already gone, 100% straight sex games got flagged so it can't be gay relationships, all Sakura games are tagged "Sexual content" but the ones that always keep people clothed didn't get flagged.

That's why I don't buy the second argument either. I see what you mean, even if the HBO example falls flat given how GOT was always panned for having too many nudes and sex for no reason, but I think it's pretty clear they are not considering context in this particular situation.

I mean I was just having a laugh because it literally can't be titties because like half of every AAA game released in the last decade has those.
