ah good, you cant 100% owlboy without doing an insanely frustrating minigame that has no presence anywhere else in the game but one optional area, that has gameplay completely separate from the rest of the game

i thought games kind of stopped doing poo poo like this but i guess it did start production a decade ago

ive never relied on steam for reviews or exposure to new titles, only external sources. imho its the fault of the consumer if they feel overwhelmed because they arent patronizing other gaming websites or yt reviewers for whatever reason (ignorance, laziness, etc.). it's kind of like going to a car dealership and buying a car for stickerprice because it's a popular brand/you saw an ad for it on tv a lot without looking at consumer reports or similar things

owlboy is lighthearted. everyone loves him and praises except his mentor, who comes around in the end. the abuse is blown way out of proportion on SA, for some reason. the light at the end is meant to show he's still alive, not that he's dying. it's implied it's a cycle, so there's always the chance the next cycle goes better. yall need a new emotional outlook

Furi added some invincible mode for free, but apparently playing it on easy removes phases from the fights. i'd have played it more if the parry window wasnt so insanely small, and the fights didnt feel like a slog that took forever (even though that's the game, i know). at least i got it free on ps4. people generally seem to like it

i dont care about rocket league but it being removed from the steam store is pretty hosed up

people trumpeting competition is good seem to be missing the most important part, absent from this rivalry with epic: lower prices. i dont really give a gently caress, as a consumer, about how much devs are being paid by the storefront (though i support higher individual wages which is not at odds with that statement). lower game prices (and that includes the sneaky costs of microtransactions added to the total). i think americans especially have forgotten this aspect of competition because it never happens with the rampant price fixing that goes on

oh the boost limit doesnt reset daily? i have to do a bunch of busy work to increase the cap? and going over the cap doesnt increase your tokens, only when you have room in the cap? guess i'm not going to spend 10 hours or whatever to get a 5 dollar coupon, i'll just not buy that game i want and wait for the winter sale
