I had to go back and watch it again to check this. If you count everyone in the MEM (Sting, Angle, Joe, Magnus, Rampage), everyone from A&8 that comes out (Anderson, D-Von, Knox, Brisco, Bischoff), the commentary team (Tenay, Borash), the AUGUST 1ST WARNING (Ortiz), and anyone that any of the aforementioned people might have mentioned (Bully Ray, Chris Sabin), only one of those people is still with the company.

Even funnier was that both Tito and Rampage were there to promote the first Bellator PPV. Someone(Dixie) had pissed them both off so badly they refused to do business with them ever again. I believe there were also pay disputes.

nah, at best he was Jenna Jameson's husband. He was a big deal during the latter days of MMA's unregulated era but due to his fractious relationship with Dana White and poor personal decisions he never really got a mainstream media foothold. Plus he's really really fuckin stupid.

He was an absolutely huge MMA star who was on a very highly rated season of the Ultimate Fighter, did giant PPVs with Liddell and Shamrock and one of the biggest ratings in MMA history for his third fight with Shamrock. He was over the hill for that angle but he was still enough of a nostalgia draw that Bellator did a couple million viewer shows with him (and a couple disappointing numbers) but TNA is TNA and got him pulled from the shows within weeks.

DJExile

Yeah everyone knew Tito, even at that point. The problem was (stop me if you've heard this before) the angle made basically no sense and nothing was followed up on

People wanted Tito to go into professional wrestling like, in the early 2000's. So of course TNA would bring him in 15 years later than when that would have been a big deal.

The saga of the True Huntington Beach Bad Boys has already been covered, but to elaborate further: Tito Ortiz's quote on the can is "I'm a calm and mellow man by nature", a phrase synonymous with both Tito and Mickey's.

Has Mickey Gall tried to get a Tito's Vodka endorsement deal yet?
