Of all the things you could say about the Aspers, nazi is probably the opposite. They are a pretty huge donor to Jewish charities and stuff. The current owner however, could be the Dixie of the family. 10 years ago, the family owned the 3rd biggest broadcast TV network and the affiliated cable networks (like good HGTV tier stuff). He was left in charge after the dad died and the company went bankrupt and now he’s running Anthem instead of a real network.

Hellblazer187 posted:So I guess the generous read on this is that a company that owns a Canadian combat sports TV channel and has experience running it profitably (??) His father built and left him one of the largest media companies in Canada including a major broadcast network, like half of the actually important cable channels and the family was on all the richest Canadians so yes, he has experience. Pinche Rudo posted:They're probably up to their necks in debt leveraging themselves on this. If this goes south and they go bankrupt or have to sell we could see Impact going up in a fire sale. An empire which he lost because he bought one of the largest newspaper chains with debt and got wiped in the last recession...
