Shame about those static themes but only about 1% of PS4 themes are any good anyway.

My only concern is that the superfans make it a bit too... romhacky. Like super hard or whatever.

Considering they're remixing classic levels I'll be too busy behaving like I'm 10 years old again to care!

It's clear that Square thinks we Americans are noob casuals unworthy of completely maxing out the sphere grid. Well, my 141:00 original PS2 savefile disagrees.

I wish Australia was treated like noob casuals as I never got the Besaid hidden sphere and could not beat Dark Valefor that son of a bitch when I first played it on PS2.

And yeah, Taintrunner seconding the "don't do the postgame stuff" advice. It's just a mindless grind for little reward. I've beaten FFX multiple times, it's one of my favourites, and never bothered with that poo poo.

Oh, and one other thing - Blitzball is good to zone out and listen to music/podcasts too, and Chocobo racing is nowhere near as hard as people make it out to be :ssh:

I thought I was going to be stuck in the Metal Sonic and that rear end in a top hat mini-Metal Sonic boss fight in Sonic Mania forever. Gave up in frustration on Wednesday night and last night I thought my entire session was going to be just that boss fight since I finally made it to the second phase... only to time out because the first phase took me so long. Just aggressively bad design.

Anyone ever have that issue before? It's not a BSOD either.

Steam install may be corrupted or may be on a bad disk sector. Reinstall Steam and run a disk checker.

What does a bad disk sector mean by the way?

Not sure if it matters much with SSDs, but with old style hard drives the various platters that spin to make up all the storage are allocated as sectors. A bad sector could mean some corrupt data is in that sector or there's a minor hardware fault with it. Unfortunately I don't know any good disk checker programs that aren't stashed on ancient CDs I've got from my old IT helpdesk days or I'd point you in the direction of one.
