I never realized that's a JDM thing, but it makes sense now when I consider how it was (is?) all the rage in WRX tuner circles and how much folks loved to rep their JDM cred.

That second Cosmo you posted looks strange to me, and I can't really say why. Maybe I've just never seen a Cosmo shot directly side-on like that. you should buy one
