i had a chat to some guys in nz who import/comply/sell them and its a perfectly viable dd until the power bug hits you then its no different to any other import normal service routine and not loving with it should see it last as long as a camry, problem is its a fr sedan with a 1j turbo and lsd from factory which would be fun to throw around i want one so im going to check out the frontrunner in a few hours. white 99 tourer v, factory manual/lsd/sunroof. imported with coilovers/exhaust/wheels so not quite completely stock, and im not a fan of the trd kit but everything else is on point

BlackMK4 posted:did you get them from Powervehicles and did you leave them there or sell them back? I wish I had time to tie up like that, so baller i rolled the dice and purchased "untested" stock from pv (it was sat in a carpark there, and hadnt been thrashed by andy). others cars were private purchases, which meant paying support fees and dealing with whatever andy and emily said had to be fixed before going on track. because i bought via them and my car was in decent shape (for ebisu) i was sweet to head out. granted i had the least power/angle, all the car had was coilovers, a seat and a welded diff i stored mine with pv and sold it privately, which emily hates, but meh. sold it for more than i paid after servicing it/getting it driving and sliding/making it one colour, used the money to buy a missile here

I don't think I'd have the stomach for it. this is true for most japanese mr cars iirc, lift the body off the rear subframe
