We're doing a 12-man Yahoo Keeper league with a $30 buy-in. We started I'm sending out emails and PMs to all of last year's players. I'll update the team list as it goes along. #. U Deflated Bro? - U Deflated Bro? - RENEWED 7. moghow - no use for a team - RENEWED 8. 9. dewey7788 - Cutty Does It - RENEWED 10. Von Bonez RENEWED 11. 12. = PAIDRULES: Snake draft, Yahoo Standard Scoring QB, WR, WR, W/R/T, RB, RB, TE, K, D/ST, 6x BN 3 keepers per year (max) and I'm blocking the first 2 rounds for keepers status since we voted to keep players as long as we want. 3 divisions, 6 playoff spots with 3 byes. #1 seed of every division advances, the other 3 go into the playoffs with their overall records. In other words, we could have playoffs with all of division 1 and the winners of division 2 and 3. Waiver period is 2 days and will work as a continual rolling list, meaning you can hold on to your waiver pick for as long as you want. The penalty for keeper status is +1 draft round per year and you can keep these players for as long as you want. Payouts will be 60% for the playoff winner, 30% for second place, and 10% for third place. I will be collecting your money through PayPal. My PayPal is still internet.incorporated at Google's mail service. I'm hoping everyone besides blue squares comes back for season 4 since it's a little harder to find new players in keepers leagues. If not, I'll be taking names for replacements. I understand the lack of enthusiasm to take over a lovely team so I think we have to either increase the cost of keeper picks, prevent players from keeping players too long, give discount to teams without (or with few) keepers, or offer these teams to the highest bidder like I suggested in the OP, etc. Keeper leagues make sense with your work buddies or families and friends but online it's too easy to jump ship when things don't go your way (no pointing fingers, it happens every year and for different reasons) and leave the league in a bad spot. So let's think up of a way to make finding new players easy or consider switching to a redraft league starting next year. We can make the rules a little different from my other SA redraft league if you're in both, to keep them interesting.

It'd mean more book keeping, but maybe something like Keeper cost is 2 spots, and increases by 2 spots each year kept. So a keeper drafted in the 15th would be a 13th the next year, then a 9th the second year, then a 3rd the third year.

I would put up voting on trades to make sure everything's fair and all that. Not gonna throw away 11 seasons of goon leagues to cheat my way to a W.

Invites sent. Once they are all accepted, I'll randomize the draft order and use that to randomly assign the keepers to the 3 new players. Whoever has the lowest # draft position gets Tom Brady in the 7th round. Whoever has the one in the middle gets Jay Ajayi in the 7th round. Whoever has the highest # draft position gets Michael Thomas in the 9th. I'll then assign your players and give a week to everyone else to mark their keeper players. Let's do this.

Gotta say, I'm not sure I'm ok with this system for the keepers. Getting a single solid keeper puts each of us at a huge disadvantage compared to the other players. If that is the case, then I have to back out.

I can leave the other players in the mix if you want, I only took them out because at first glance I wouldn't have kept any. In the past some players have had only 1 or 2 keepers. Not everyone takes all 3. Or do you mean you would gamble for the big team and be cool with a 2/3 chance of getting the bad ones?

Ya I'm sorry for wasting your time Looking at the rosters, "No use for a team (now named who cares?)" looks to have OBJ for an 11th, David Johnson for a 12th and either Crabtree for a 6th, Crowder for a 14th or Matt Ryan for a 14th? Sorry folks - I think I just realized that being a replacement owner in a keeper/dynasty just isn't for me. Draft time and date is in the OP. I'm gonna widen the search for a 12th player but I'm not too worried. Set your keepers and I'll finalize the teams and randomize the draft order even if we're still at 11 players for now. E: Let's say you have until Saturday morning to set your keepers. Alright! I got us a 12th player. He should be accepting the invite shortly. He's a regular in my SA redraft league. Also, don't forget to set your keepers by tomorrow. I have no idea at what time Yahoo stops taking them, but I know I can set them manually if you missed the deadline by a few hours or whatever.

OK, I might be loving crazy but I can't find where the option to select keepers is. I look under the "my team" pulldown and there's nothing there. I've posted before that my keepers are gonna be Kirk Cousins, Emmanuel Sanders and Kenneth Dixon, can you just set them manually?
