I don't know what the numbers are as of today but in the second half his numbers have been gloriously clutch, he's hitting like crazy with RISP. And for at least a while in July he led MLB for hits with bases loaded.

It supposedly dates back to the early, early days of baseball when teams played on cricket pitches.
