https://www.goodreads.com which most people will of heard of is a place to list your books, find books, review books, attempt to read more books in a year than whoever your goodreads enemies are, and to add goons to your friends list and then kind of forget that we have our own group. https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/2686-book-barn-goons You would be surprised at how active people in the group are in each other's news feeds, and a lot of people just use the members list to find friends so it's far less dead than the recent activity would suggest. We are now going to be making sure the SA challenges match up with the goodreads group, and if people want us to add books that individual SA threads are group reading then post here, or create a thread on GR. The group tool now allows for both book and yearly challenges. Note: It's not just for sci-fi or fantasy readers, group members are more than happy for any suggestions no matter the genre. If your favourite book is a work of obscure 19th century literature translated from the French that no one but you has heard of, post a thread and it will be read.

I've just started a new thing. While we only have one book on the go in group reads I will randomly start a thread or reply to a thread and the first person to reply gets to recommend their favourite book, Battaile just gave us The Godfather by Mario Puzo.
