I want to say that calling someone an aunt can be just a thing of close affection. But on the other hand, assuming they were married, Della's husband would have to be called Duck too. (Taking the wife's name was rather rare back then.)

Yeah, it may not be as common these days, but my mom had more "aunts" and "uncles" than ones she was related to by blood. I also had an aunt like that who was my mom's lifelong friend.

well, we don't really know how everyone feels about him, other than the fact that the vulture businessmen react to him with incredulity.

Please. They're clearly vulture capitalists.

After the show gave each one a gimmick, I feel like The Warriors gangs was the next logical step.

I think my favorite part of that episode was the one beagle boy screwing around with bottles in every scene he was in.

Donald doesn't strike me as the college type. And I'm pretty confident that he hasn't gotten his degree. I wonder what his major was. Nautical engineering? History? He did apply for an office job in the first episode, so maybe he studied something completely mundane like economics.

I want to believe the he tried to study computer science and was thrown out when he smashed the university's main frame in a fit of rage after a slight error in his programming.

He was trying to become a speech therapist.

Issue 13 of the Caramanga comics was fantastic!

"The Mighty Ducks of Duckburg!" is a great story and one I wish we could see come to life on the show.

Also does anyone else love Margo Martindale as Ma Beagle? I LOVED her in BoJack and she does insanely well playing the character.

I mean, they called her "Beloved Character Actress Margo Martindale" as a gag but it was also very much not a joke.

I really enjoy that the fact that it's licorice flavor is a completely valid reason why it's not the most important item in the world

Maybe it's black licorice because it's got a naturally horrible flavor that gets worse as you chew it and black licorice is the only thing strong enough to cover it. Or maybe Gyro just thinks that any system that provides you all your nutrition would, ideally, provide you with a constant black licorice flavor that only grows more intense as you chew it.

Given this version of Gyro, it might be both.
