Speculation: So The Spear of Selene has to be Scrooge's rocket now, right? Senerio fucked around with this message at 01:36 on May 7, 2018 |

Further speculation: If I had to guess, it blew up/vanished on the Moon, and Donald blames Scrooge for having a shoddily-built rocket, but Della survived and is on the Moon and they're gonna go rescue her, and the Moon Theme is gonna play as they fly up to the Moon.

It's just the game but I heard somewhere (but haven't seen any corroboration since so grain of salt) that they said at sdcc that they are planning to use that theme.

Here was a could-have-been from Frank Angones via tumblr: Daisy was considered to be introduced by being hired by Glomgold as his #2 in his attempted oneupsmanship over Scrooge. They didn't do it because they felt that shortchanged the character.

My running theory is still that the Spear of Selene is Scrooge's rocket. Della was unaware at the time that Scrooge, cheapskate he is, only had enough fuel for a one way trip. Donald and Scrooge both think she's dead because she's been on the moon for years, when she's actually alive because there's a civilization on the moon, made up of another as-of-yet unused Disney Afternoon property. When they go up to see her, we will hear a familiar theme. Senerio fucked around with this message at 07:45 on Jul 21, 2018 |

Yeah I figured they wanted a new voice for him to match the new characterization. The only ones who retained their old voice also retained their old characteristics, seems like.Ghost Leviathan posted:Does the new Don Karnage voice have a history in musical theatre? He's done a bunch of mexican theater. Wikipedia posted:Camil has often said that his favorite venue is the stage. In 2005, he played Nestor Castillo in the Broadway-bound musical The Mambo Kings. Later in 2005 he performed in Latinologues on Broadway. His work in Mexican theater includes the role of Bernardo in a revival of West Side Story (2004), for which he won the Palmas de Oro award for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical. In 2007 he played the lead, Father Silvestre, in El diluvio que viene, which won the APT and ACPT awards for Best Actor in a Musical. He has played colorful characters such as Captain Hook in the musical Peter Pan (2007), and the Genie in the musical Aladdin (2008). In the summer of 2016, Jaime starred as Billy Flynn in the musical Chicago on Broadway in the Ambassador Theater. Camil played Flynn in an extended run from May 31 to July 31, 2016. e: also Launchpad's right. That song IS stuck in my head. Senerio fucked around with this message at 15:24 on Jul 29, 2018 |

Good episode. Quite enjoyed it. I looked to see whether we're getting weekly releases, and we are. But more importantly, Season 2 episode 5 is titled Storkules in Duckburg! which is up there on the list of "best possible names for episodes."
