he's at 97 right now, if he completes the inning it'll be worth 5 points plus another point for any strikeouts. If he strikes out the side with no hits, walks, or runs he'll tie Kerry Wood at 105.

Start with 50 (50)
One for each out (27 -> 77)
Two for each inning after the fourth (10 -> 87)
One for each strikeout (10 -> 97)

then some subtraction rules that don't do anything here

I always thought it was bullshit that an error cost a pitcher a perfect game, unless he was the one who made the error.

I mean, I get it. A perfect game is absolutely no baserunners, but a no hit no walk game should be considered perfect.
