The devs mentioned that weaker characters will have the better assists so I wholly expect the Pilaf kids to be a three-in-one character with a phenomenal assist ability.

I hope if you have Goku and Blue Goku on your team then tagging out is just the model transforming like Kazuya > Devil Kazuya and that's why they have the same outfits.

Lunch would be a cool install character but canonically she's sort of outclassed by DBZ power creep. Videl feels like a natural inclusion since she can actually fight. Bulma as a Tron/Sentinel sort of thing would be really good, then you can have the whole Briefs family on one team.

Rote memorization is the least fun part of fighting games imo and the auto combo sounds like it bandages that a bit but its meaningless if the autocombo is way worse than a normal combo. Combos usually follow a logical flow of light > medium > heavy > special > super in virtually every game.

 It looks like when Ginyu body swaps you it keeps the player names, i.e. Nappa's name is still Ginyu here and Ginyu's portrait is on the other team. I wonder if that means the swapped Ginyu doesn't have access to the Ginyu Force or something similar, since it's making the distinction between Nappa and Nappa swapped out by Ginyu.

My hot take is I'm grateful for this game but instead of DLC Waves I'd like Team Red to get a nice long vacation after this mega crunch, and then be able to work on whatever they want again, and if that happens to be Guilty Gear then all the better.

Nappa, 16, Buu, is that the three biggest characters we have so far? Is Majin Buu larger than Ginyu? You can build a good Team Small out of Gotenks, Krillin, Teen Gohan and Kid Buu, I believe fielding a wall of meat is equally viable.
