namco bandai gave arcsys the cash grab budget they do on other cash grab tiein games but arcsys is full of insane people used to working on shoestrings and dreams who crunched a whole year to get this game out but yea also like almost all the dlc boys have reused assets one way or the other hopefully w the success of the game they demand more money

watch vegetas lvl3 work nothing like trunks and the because its a hitgrab explosion and not an actual command grab also itll give base vegeta bardock lv3 type oki and be air ok for no reason god gently caress goku better have a low 2l

as someone who actually plays piccolo, orb is sweet vs bardock, yamcha, and the blue vegeta but blows nuts vs literally everyone else. since they don't have strong multi-hitting kiblasts on the ground the orb is actually a huge obstacle vs them but vs everyone else it's really not too great bc of that reason the actual biggest issue w orb is that it's piccolo's assist and is SDable/reflectable on block so it's traaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaash as an assist bc you don't get to do the most important thing of extending pressure/doing mixups w/ it also orb is garbage for oki vs anyone who has any exp. with piccolo or a brain really bc you just wakeup reflect it for the projectile autoguard and then cancel into something to blow piccolo up (probably 2h) or jump out. it's worse than hellzone as oki, which is already really bad b/c of basically the same reason if you watch either of the 2 actual piccolos play you'll notice they will never use orb for oki and rarely use it in neutral besides in specific matchups where the other char actually struggles vs it and that's b/c it is actually better to just jump around pressing j.L instead of doing orb and encouraging "oh gently caress maybe i SHOULD superdash"

I am giving all these people poo poo for crying without even attempting to learn. using this video to showcase 'adaptation' is missing the point of what the "salty babies" are saying entirely b/c what they're stating is that rather than having to guess on poo poo like displayed there (how you'd do it in the past, GC random poo poo and hope they committed to something that whiffed or having the assist gently caress it up) you can just react to a whole lot of moves (most specials, for example) for a guaranteed escape every time it's less of a 'these boys don't wanna lab' thing and more 'oh good now there's less options for offense allowing a mixup' thing good or bad it sure as hell will make the game go longer on top of all the other changes loving up the damage personally i'm excited to see how this turns out in a month or two once all the jp players figure out exactly which strings to GC funfact: vegito 5l is a free GC b/c he can't cancel into 2h until the last kick, so just do that if you really feel threatened by that dude since you can just eat the super or take the safe vanish whiff re: metered options https://streamable.com/urdg0
