Sorry if this was obviously stated, but what was the deal with the prostitutes and the sheets they were showing to the cops? How did it keep some of them out of the paddy wagon?

Your Gay Uncle posted:In the second episode when all the prostitutes were getting put into the paddy wagon, what was going on? They could only be arrested once every 30 days or something? Yes except once every 48 hours. No idea why it worked (works?) that way but yeah that's what it was.

Not a crime family, but he's definitely got teeth that need respecting. Oh yeah, Frankie's days are numbered. No way his swagger and big mouth get him anything other than a tragic and completely avoidable death. I just hope that we get some sort of fun twin switcheroo scene before his time comes. Maybe it'll even contribute to the cause of death

3Romeo posted:For the sake of the story, I hope they don't get it - or if they do get it, it becomes a tangentially related subplot. HIV/AIDS/back-then GRID is an important topic, but it's been covered in a number of excellent movies and television series where the disease is the focus (like Dallas Buyers Club or And the Band Played On). Yeah, totally! I kept expecting them to be wrong about the skimming they thought they saw in some way but nope, just simple observation and reporting. It may be boring to some, but to me it's kind of refreshing to just see simple plans carried out in a TV show. It's sort of like one of the things that makes Mike fun to watch in Better Call Saul. The intrigue comes not from some heroic action or quick reflex, but from watching them carry out their plans and appreciating the work that goes into a plan like that.
