Jayne The mention of three armed mutants has Jayne on edge, but surely this warfront has been going on long enough that any xenos influence would have been revealed. The decision of the Munitorium to not provide half their mission specific gear is baffling, but sadly not unusual. "Hmm. No charges. I guess I have some krak bombs, if we don't need to use those on the way in. Second the clearing, I like that cover for the approach."

Before the light goes green Jayne smiles inside her mask - the combat drop isn't old hat for her, and the rising adrenaline makes the rush of freezing air even more crisp and thrilling. Without these the heretic will be directionless and timid" The sudden and unexpected blast from Abe's grenade makes her flinch throwing off her carefully planned volley and she grimaces at the waste of las ammo.. Semi-Auto Attack, Half Action Aim TN 72: 1d100 88 miss, unless these count as surprised targets. In which case my TN would be 92 for 3 DoS including Lasgun Barrage, giving me two hits to distribute.

Sticking her head out into the bullet-dense air for a second she judges the distance to the walls and carefully considers the way the pillboxes arc of fire is restricted, formulating a brave (bad) idea. "Yorke, we need to get closer! Wait for that fire to shift away from us and...GO! Jayne Canton Jayne manages to avoid crying during the medal ceremony, but can be seen for days afterwards polishing the little scrap of tin and strutting around like a rooster with delusions of grandeur. It takes a decent chunk of brutal room clearing and reaction time training (and a healthy dose of scorn from Yorke) to knock some of the fool out of her. She does come away with a better grasp of how to spring nasty surprises, and how to act when a nasty surprise is sprung on you.
