NICE! Our second started Preschool yesterday and my wife is home with our 2 1/2 month old (third) right now. Three is a handful, but the other two are older and play together well so it helps tremendously. Enjoy sleepy snuggly little baby. It is the best drat thing :kimchi:

If you use Facebook and you are not a member of a local buy/sell group I urge you to join one. The scamming and blatantly stolen items for sale make the experience incredibly entertaining. Some dude is losing his poo poo because he bought a "Snap On" toolbox and when he got it home he discovered it was a Harbor Freight box with a Snap On sticker. And the only reason I'm not shaming him is his sister is a friend of mine.

The best group I am a part of is a new neighborhood near mine that is heavily saturated with ~Millenials~ which I know I will catch a lot of flack for labeling them here (I am also apparently a millenial). The things they complain about is incredible. I can basically brine the meats I smoke with their tears. As a group they refuse to be adults and speak one on one with people over minor conflict, there is public shaming, and a general lack of owning up to personal responsibility.

:sigh: naturally the tone of my post was received in the way I was not intending to come across. I will accept the blame for a poor explanation. What I was trying to say is that there is a predominant demographic in a small area and those people communicate with each other through a Facebook group with all kinds of things that are a head scratcher (as in: Why would someone post that?). It consists of things that shouldn't need handholding, public shaming and other stuff from who we would call "keyboard warriors" which is funny given that this community is tight and on top of each other where if people were willing to be as tough IRL as they are online it would be chaos in that place.

It is a fun train wreck to watch from a distance, a recipe for schadenfreude.

Might have to get one myself.

I actually ordered it. It has been a while since I BS'd now that I have two weeks worth of BS tees. One of my kids pulled one of my shirts off a hangar this weekend and ruined the neck so I decided it was a good enough excuse to grab one.

Apple event today. This is the day where myself and the other Sheeple TM sit back with a tall glass of Apple Juice and drink in solidarity. Realistically I won't buy a new phone unless they have a new version of the SE because small phone is better than huge phone. because I have small hands

The moment that Amazon let international sellers into the marketplace it turned to a shitshow. Imitation products or just straight wrong/misrepresented things. I'll buy only from domestic vendors and as much as I can 'from' Amazon directly. Edit: also pretty much if no Prime then no care and move along.

Edit iPhone/Apple event:
Series 3 watch has me intrigued. I'm getting a little more interested in getting fit again and having something that can integrate with my phone like that is enticing.
Apple TV looks awesome but I don't have a 4K tv or projector yet. I've had...Apple TV gen 3's? For years and love them. Positively kickass that all movies in your iTunes account that were HD are automatically upgraded to 4K and going forward all HD movies are the same price for the 4K.
iPhones...not very excited. I've hated the bigger phone (6 size the plus being :laffo: that I would never own). I went from a 6 to an SE and have loved it. I love the small phone. The return of the glass back is welcomed. The 6 was too slippery and required using a case (eeewww). Maybe the glass will be a little easier for goon fingers to hold on to? My iPhone 4S was my favorite form factor, the SE performance has been everything I wanted from a phone. Animated emojis are the last thing this world needs. Holy crud that is stupid.

I actually enjoyed this, it was a little strange but Metro City getting hosed up by that gravity smasher thing felt like it was actually a threat and there was ACTUAL DANGER to the humans in the movie. Contrast that with Avengers where NYC gets annihilated and the 2nd where an entire city gets pulled out of the ground and yet no innocents appear to even graze their knees. No weight to it at all. And that's why I appreciated Man of Steel.

But isn't that what CA: Civil War addressed directly? One of the best lines out of Tony Stark from MCU was when he talked about how they dropped a building on a boy but they didn't notice because they were "too busy kickin rear end". I agree that by large MCU quietly sweeps total destruction under the rug.

I also enjoyed M of S. I thought it was good, but I also liked Brandon Routh as Supes so  BvS sucked balls. I didn't even bother watching suicide squad. I am going to watch Wonder Woman this week. I have high hopes for it because Gal Gadot is pretty awesome and she was the only decent thing about BvS.

In "things that annoy me" can we talk about how movie studios need to pull their collective heads from their rectums regarding the whole "digital copy" thing? I use iTunes for movies and music. I get that there are others who do not. Give the consumer the choice on their selective retailer. There is nothing more stupid than going to redeem a digital copy of a movie only to see it is only available with ULTRAVIOLETTM R BUT ALSO TOTALLY COMPATIBLE ON iOS OMG. Yeah TOTALLY compatible and not a pain in the dick to use. Apparently the UV service I was using before went tits up a month or two ago forcing me to then create a VUDU account. This is something I learned last week when trying to find where my app went on my iPad so I could stream then AirPlay a stupid movie to the TV for my kids. I have already received an assload of stupid promotional emails even though when signing up for VUDU I unchecked the box communicating that "I do not give a literal poo poo about ever hearing from VUDU and movies and any other garbage you feel the need to heave upon me". VUDU is stupid and UV is stupid. I was going to buy the Wonder Woman Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital movie for $24 but saw the note on the back that the digital copy was not an iTunes file so I put it back and went home and just bought the digital copy on iTunes for $20. Every iTunes HD movie is getting upgraded to 4K HDR for no additional cost so WB can shove their stupid disc up their butt.

I have definitely enjoyed the super hero movies and I am likely dead center in the middle of their demographic reach. I think they are so much better visually as well as thematically than attempts from the past that they will hold up for many years over. Ant-Man was meh overall. Hollywood is out of a lot of fresh ideas though unless we can get like 20 more Christopher Nolans to pop up I expect a lot of (quality) reheated stories.

Man, gently caress Harley riders. They're the only dumb cunts who wake me up in the middle of the night, it's never loud cars or sport bikes. Why the gently caress are you standing on the corner from 2:00AM until 3:30AM, starting your bike every 10 minutes and shutting it off after 10 seconds, or taking it around the block and parking it again? Either start that poo poo and get the gently caress out of here, or don't start it at all. Also, as someone who's partially deaf, I should definitely not be able to hear you loudly talking to your girlfriend and friends from a story up and across the street. I'm not one to call the cops, but next time it's happening, because he was obviously waiting until he was "sober" enough to ride back

This x infinity. I could extrapolate with more details but your first sentence is all that is needed.

It snowed earlier this week. Fall pretty much showed up overnight only to be back into the 70's later this week. It was in the high 40's on my drive in this morning and maybe it is just my brain telling me so but naturally aspirated cars run noticeably faster with the cool air. If only I didn't have traffic in front of me so I could stretch out the old girls legs before putting her away for winter. :sigh:
