I only used them one round because it would be hard to top a round where Rabbit made every shape change and kept three people tied up every turn after the first, Chang Tzu got off a crit hit energy explosion, and Egghead managed to capture Superman Blue in an Elaborate Deathtrap and managed to live long enough to actually KO him with it! I never actually expected to succeed at that so it was worth it for that alone.

Things I wan from the WWE set:

[1] Chase - wheelchair bound Iron Sheik shitposting on Twitter who can use perplex at the start of each turn, ignoring range and line of site, as long as he's in your starting area.

[2] Super Rare - Title Character Jim Cornette, which makes every map play like Krakoa to represent 'how he remembers how it happened.'

[3] Rare - Sting with a Sting mask relic that grants the holder one use of shape change before removing itself from the game.

[2] Uncommon - Scotty 2 Hotty with a solid, affordable dial. Dude knew how to work a crowd and really deserves more dues than he got.

There's a lot more under represented teams and parts of the DC universe I think and the massive gaps in between DC sets doesn't help really. If they do end up doing a Superman TAS set then that'd probably have a Bruno Mannheim/Intergang generic, Granny Goodness, Kalibak, some Parademons etc.

God, I still remember playing the original Intergang team from the Common #001 Superman & Friends set. The Underbosses were surprisingly beefy, and Bruno was fun when he didn't blow past either of his 2-Storys Tall clicks.

I'm also quietly hoping we'll get some TTG! clix with abilities that upend the usual gameplay loop somehow.

It looks like the scale is all over the place, so it doesn't appear to be a hard shift. I was initially concerned, but it just means you're going to have randomly big and small figures. Forge is super tall for some reason.

My friend got a case and pulled Time Platform Doom, Utau and both Diablos.

But what I really want to talk about is the Legacy Cards. They would be an excellent idea if I could read a single letter on the card. We were both floored by how blindingly sparkly they were. He had to look at the card under a sheet to block all direct light just to read the bolded power names. Although it's amusing to watch someone throw a sheet over themselves with reading glasses and a magnifying glass like they're a medieval monk about to read porn, I don't think it's going to be conducive to an enjoyable game.

After COVID put a halt to organized play, a sizable chunk of our local player base simply didn't return when things tried to start back up. There's plenty of different and understandable reasons why (schedule changes, new hobbies, new budget, childcare), but I think we're down to two diehards and an occasional onlooker/walk-in. Games Workshop actively trying to undo the damage done during the Kirby years didn't help matters, either.

True fact: 100% (figure and dial!) glow-in-the-dark clix were a semi-chase all the way back in the Mage Knight expansion Minions! Minions was also the first MK expansion that predominantly used the recessed dial, and they were miserable to turn - even with a ring.
