I could see that vote being mainly about the actor rather than character based on the top 3, but he's a nice guy who gets an actual job, which probably puts him above a good chunk of a lineup that includes wanderer, hobo, maybe-dead laundryman, cat detective, etc.

The fullbottles also have their Best Match letters printed on them.  that's a toy thing, but still.

This ep really had the cast as a whole click with me, so I'm pretty confident going forward. Ryuuga gets a little tiring when he doesn't have anything to do but complain in the background though. That'll probably be dealt with next ep, and he's obviously not the type to be fine sitting around all day, but having him clobbering sento could get goofy if it keeps happening despite their interests being so intertwined to begin with.

I really liked Ex-aid in the end, but it takes a bit to get going. Though I'd probably be more charitable to the early episodes now that I know it succeeds at developing and endearing you to those goofy and/or rear end in a top hat doctors.

It's not surprising, though we know Rogue answers to someone else now. Speaking of revelations, I'll be impressed if they go all-in on Sento being a lovely dude in his previous life. I can see ways they could walk back the degree of Takumi's involvement in the Nebula Gas experiments, but even that still leaves the probable body-swap thing.

Yeah I found the designs odd when they were first revealed, but I warmed to them a lot over the show. Though I've always been receptive to the goofier rider designs.

That and not affecting your constitution. Using purified/filtered memories by way of drivers is how you don't eventually end up like weather when you get your rear end kicked.

I think a decent number of Riders have women in good secondary character roles, but yeah, it's not great on the whole with stuff like most female Riders and Kabuto/Wizard/etc.

The (modern) Sentai formula inherently means there's gonna be 1-2 women who get focus eps, but then I remember the weird comments about Kyoryuger (correct me if those were fake net crap).

Caught up with Build. Man, it's almost funny how often they're having Owner do awful things just to hammer out any chance of redemption. Most I see at this point is sacrificing himself for Misora while momentarily fighting off his Box madness or something. And considering Nabeshima, I wonder if the katsuragi deal is considered "shut", or if Sento will have to deal with those memories/personality bubbling back at some point.
