Stick had a lot of great call backs that landed really well. Fractured tried to do a lot of new ideas that didn't really land or feel interesting. Also a lot of the jokes flyby at light speed. The pacing is not very good either and the game really dragged. While I liked the combat system more, neither was actually very much fun to play and neither is particularly challenging. There's a lot of good references and jokes in Fractured by it lacked the charm of the first one and not having the originality didn't help either. I'd say actually they left a lot on the table that they could have added in and didn't whereas the first one felt like they really crammed in references wherever they could. I'm probably making it sound like I was more let down and disappointed than I actually am. I liked the new season of South Park, and I liked the new video game but the drop in overall appreciation of the product from Game 1 to Game 2 was deeper than from Season 20 to 21.

Im grabbing the fractured but whole game on sale and want to know if the DLC is worth it or is my brother gonna get enough game by itself? Never was a thread in TVIV for either game. They just came up as part of whatever year they were released. Unfortunately I’ve played neither so I couldn’t say and also gently caress DLC. ‘Member when you bought a game and you got the whole game! I ‘member. Anyway, I was texting a buddy and a phrase I used reminded me of one my favorite South Park gags. The NEWSCASTERS! Like the episode where Christopher Reeves is eating aborted fetuses for stem cells. “Tom, if irony were strawberries, we’d all be having Smoothies.” My favorite though is the news report from “Major Boobage.” They call it “cheesing” because it’s fon-to-due. It’s just so silly and ridiculous but so accurate to that style of news report. Also the alternative slang nickname of “Mary Jane Piss In Your Face Fun Time” Anyone else have some favorite news anchor gags?

I've always been a fan of the caster's names, particularly Creamy Goodness and Midget In A Bikini

R Kelly That was more funny after actually watching Trapped In The Closet. Well, most of it. I got bored after one episode was basically just a recap of the previous episode. It really was a Hip-Hopera.

I'm watching Lil Crime Stoppers right now (which I haven't seen in its entirety in either a long time or ever) and man, it's a great episode where the kids being kids spirals out of control and yet their naivety still trumps the adults, who are morons. It's even devoid of the red-headed overaggressive detective. The kids wind up going back to pretending to own a laundromat in the end. It's an example of South Park in its prime. If they made that episode 15 years later, it'd be a preachy commentary on police brutality and have Cartman Loves Heidi as a subplot.
