Ein cooler Typ posted:I'm liking the new season. getting some good laughs out of it. but some of the situations seem kind of contrived Eh... it's not Arrested Development. The payoff to jokes is a few minutes later in the same episode, not several episodes later.

In interviews I have read that a lot of care goes into the show to light it but make it feel like it is not actually lit with lights, so I don't think they'd just shine a spotlight on the people.
