 Attickus Although he felt exhausted and had the distinct feeling that he would NOT look good in a painting right now, Attickus determinedly marches forward while trying to look as unperturbed as possible. Perhaps if they find somewhere with some water for a bath he could work on a better "trek/uncontrolled run through untamed wilderness" look. And lo and behold! A little village has appeared in the distance, and how rustic it is! Surely it's residents must live a life free from the modern ratrace. That totally means there must be excellent food and beer hiding somewhere! Or at least beer and food that people haven't heard of, which is almost as good. More importantly, maybe he could find some good places to sketch and pose in. "I simply MUST try the local craft brews! And maybe try to find a nice hole in the wall place to eat..." His voice fades away into the distance as he runs off, wildly sketching random dirty alleyways as he goes with Bearickus following closely behind him. Later, after the courier makes his announcement and Sir Guy asks for stables, Attickus hurridly interjects "Oh no Sir Guy, Bearickus gets so nervous without me, you wouldn't want a sad bear all by himself in some stable would you? No no Bearickus stays with me, yesyoudooo Beary-bear" Attickus affectionately ruffles the top of Bearickuses bear head. Attickus A kidnapping? Cannibals? How dreadful. Blood and guts are extremely unglamourous unless you're butchering some cage-free-grass-fed-pasture-raised animals, and then making some very ecologically sensitive and more importantly, extremely attractive food with them. On the other hand, saving a child from cannibals would make for a good story for his journal that he will totally sell for lots of money. Lost in these very important thoughts, Attickus stays near the back absentmindedly petting dear Bearickus. Also, why does everyone think hes kislevarian?

Attickus Attickus ducks down in the wagon, hoping the walls of the vehicle will protect him from the view of those horrible beasts that are accosting them. How terrible! And he was just getting the hang of drawing in a moving wagon too. He practically screetches "Bearickus! Protect meeee". He of course meant for Bearickus to stay closeby and mostly safe from harm but after weeks of boredom the bear is having none of it. Bearickus rears up and roars, then charges for the nearest beastman. Attickus peeks over the wagon edge when he hears Guys charge. Even though the beastmen manages to dodge the attacks, a real knight is charging into battle! This must be recorded for future! In fact it may be better that the beastmen dodged, it makes for a more tense and dynamic piece of art than a simple goring would. Attickus The beastman lands on the edge of the cart with a terrifying crash. Attickus, who has up to this point been painting madly, seems to hardly notice until the beastman casts a very, very large shadow over his drawing board. He looks up ready to give a good scolding to whoever is blocking his sunlight and immediately screams girlishly once he sees the angry beastman looming over him. In a panic he flails his brush in the general direction of the beastmans face, splattering it with not an insignificant amount of paint while he desperately reaches for his throwing axe. Bearickus hears Attickuses scream, but decides that his friend can probably handle himself while he finishes off the beastman. Attickus and Bearickus Bearickus roars in pain, glaring furiously at the Gor that injured it. It rears back, preparing to strike a mighty blow against the creature that dared harm it when suddenly they both hear a pathetic girlish scream followed by an axe flying between them. "Get away from my precious bear-bear!!!!" Attickus shouts from inside the wagon bed. The tension broken, Bearickus shakes it head over its silly food-dispensing friend and casually swipes at the wavering gor, probably killing it. Attickus Attickus practically leaps out of the back of the wagon, wailing "Beaarrriickkuss!". He runs up to his precious bear, who is looking a bit banged up from the fight, and gives it an enormous bear hug. "Oh my poor baby what did those meanies do to you? Don't you worry I'll take care of you". He comes away from the hug covered in beastman blood. Hopefully it'll wash out. Noticing the weird blood sucking amulet that Roland is examining, Attickus shoots it a dirty look while he attempts to clean some of Bearickus's wounds with a flask of water. "Ugh that thing is far too dangerous. Not to mention tacky. I say we throw that thing in their faces and give them what for. I need to avenge Bearickus anyway" He sniffs, momentarily forgetting his natural cowardice in favor of bluster. Bearickus, unperturbed by his overly affectionate friend, sits down and starts to lick his wounds. He sniffs around but fails to notice anything interesting Bearickus sniffs! What a horrid book and what a horrid place, he is definitely not painting this. Who would want to see a bleeding book? Disgusting! The nobleman is glad to be away from the thicket and the book. Attickus gossips a bit with the merchants they pass on the way back to town, but doesn't discover anything important.
